About Bill McNeil
We have lived in North Carolina for 40 years, currently in Geensboro, after growing up in New York and Florida and going to college in Pennsylvania, Boston and UNC-Chapel Hill.
Bill McNeil purchased this house in 2004
Why Bill McNeil chose Shallotte
Our home offers a great place to retreat, connect with nature, get in touch with the ebb and flow of tides in the marsh. It is away from the congested beaches, yet close enough to enjoy them. For golfers, over 30 Myrtle Beach and Brunswick County courses are within 30 miles.
What makes this house unique
After looking at beach property along the entire NC coast, we found this river-view gem at the end of a sandy path, with what some have called a million dollar view.
