Great Apartment in Fantastic Location

We stayed in this apartment for a few days in October with our two children, ages 2 and 4. The apartment is newly renovated, sparkling clean, and comfortable--the pictures are all very accurate. The location is wonderful--on a quiet street just across from the Pantheon. We loved being able to wander around the square in front of the Pantheon in the early morning before the crowds arrived, when it was virtually empty. At the other end of the block is Piazza della Madelena, with several pleasant and kid-friendly restaurants, along with a San Crispino ice cream shop. We could walk to most of the major sites, including Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and (a bit further) the Colosseum.
Jason was very friendly and helpful--I appreciated that he did not add a million "fees" to the basic rental rate, as many of the Rome rentals seem to do. One night when the kids were too tired to go out we ordered up from Jason's restaurant, da Fortunato, across the street, and enjoyed an excellent meal in the comfort of the apartment.
We were among the first renters since the apartment was renovated, and it was lacking a few small things like silverware, pots and pans, and coffee maker that would have been useful for a family with kids--I have no doubt Jason will add these things for future renters.
If you go to Rome with kids, I highly recommend visiting the Villa Borghese and renting a "riscio" bike for 2-4 people.
