Steps away from the fine sand beach perfect for walking, jogging, or simply relaxing while enjoying the ocean breeze.
"My son was attending a conference at a nearby resort where we could have stayed. Instead I found your condo and we couldn't have been happier. The private beach was beautiful and we were able to walk to the Kioskos from there. The roof top terrace was a delight during the day and evening. We had everything we needed to feel at home. I really appreciated how accommodating you were with our schedule of arriving at 4:00 AM ! El Yunque Rain Forest was a highlight of the trip and it was so convenient to our location. Thank you for your kindness and we hope to return soon!"

This condo is on the third floor of a secure, well-maintained building. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful before and during our stay. The condo itself was very clean and furnished wonderfully with every small thing you could possibly want. The location is perfect for beach hopping and sight seeing around the El Yunque area of Puerto Rico.
It was perfect, we wished we could have stayed longer. Loved the rooftop terrace for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Great views, and the sounds of the birds coming from the trees made you feel you were in the rain forest.
Maria and Richard were terrific hosts. They met us at the airport car rental to give us all the information we needed. Their condo was in the most perfect setting, jungle to one side, the ocean to the other. The amenities had everything you needed for your visit. Richard and Maria take get care of their property. Having your morning coffee up on their roof deck was such a splendid way to start your day. The immediate area is very quiet yet it is close enough to the town center to walk in for dinner. Every evening we would walk the opposite direction for a nice, calm swim at the Balneario Beach and watch the sun set. The location is perfect
for easily reaching many of Puerto Rico's most interesting sites. We will definitely be returning here next year.
Our group had an amazing time in Puerto Rico, and a big part of it was this cozy and conveniently located apartment in Luquillo. Working with the owners was a breeze, and Richard was accommodating enough to meet us at our hotel in Old San Juan to give us everything we needed for our stay in Luquillo. The apartment was perfect for 4 adults. We loved the terrace and the balcony both. Having the gas grill was great since it expanded what we could cook at the apartment. Don't feel like cooking? Good news because you're in walking distance to the Luquillo kioskos. We ate and drank there often. The kioskos are right on the Luquillo public beach which is the nicest public beach I've ever been to (our whole group felt that way). The beach access from the building is fantastic, as it's quiet and secluded and has a few palm trees for shade (no need for umbrellas!). El Yunque is not only in view from the terrace here, but it's a quick 15 minute drive. Fajardo is only a little farther (~20-25 minutes) and is where you can go for the biobay tours or to grab a sailboat trip. The apartment is clean, and the kitchen was better equipped than other rentals I've had in the past. We ate in quite frequently. It's also nice that there's a grocery store right across the main street. As we went other places, we all kept saying that we loved our location and apartment best. The building is smaller, so it's easier to get in and out than some of the big high rises we saw. We had absolutely no problems, but it was nice knowing that the owners were a quick phone call away if we did. They also called us to make sure our visit went well at the end. Puerto Rico is an amazing vacation location, but I also think that choosing to stay in Luquillo, and at this apartment in particular, helped to make sure it was awesome.
Our family of 5 (3 teenage boys) spent 2 wonderful weeks at Maria and Richard's condo. The place was clean and big enough. We especially enjoyed dinners on the terrace and a short walk to the beach. The complex was usually very quiet, only on weekends the road to the place was congested, but that was expected at this time of the year.
This was our 1st family trip to PR. The 4th trip for my wife and I. The whole family loved our trip. We found the condo just as described and incredibly clean. Maria and Richard met us at the airport car rental place and were very friendly.
My girls ages 6, 10, 13 loved the condo and the location to beach(s). We would sit outside on the deck in the morning more, and up on the terrace more at night. The kitchen was well equipped and we grilled out 3 times. Our favorite places to eat where the Brass Cactus (best churrasco of the trip), Vejigante Kiosk, Erik's Gyros (went there twice - for lunch and breakfasts - the western omelet was awesome), Pasta y Pueblo was an experience, but possibly overrated (though the pesto pene pasta side was excellent), and Lotilas.
There was high surf for a few of the days, but it was fine to swim at Luiquillo beach, we went to Playa Azul a couple times as well later in the trip.
Mostly we walked to Luquillo beach, but on one day we drove and parked as we brought a cooler and more chairs etc.
The condo building was only 1/4 full most of the time we were there- so nice and quiet. On the weekend, it got a little busier, but was fine. We met some other friendly people there which was fun.
One thing to note, is that there is no wi-fi there and maybe 1 English TV channel (only turned on the TV once), but that was fine. We watched DVDs a few nights - the DVD and music system was good.
We did the Bio bay (do the early trip if you have kids or don't know how to kayak) and did some fishing one day, but other than a few trips to the Rainforest - the family just wanted to swim and play at the beach.
Thank you Maria and Richard for helping us have a great family vacation!
