With five freshwater rivers, the Intracoastal Waterway, swamps, saltwater creeks, bays, inlets and miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean, Georgetown County offers an endless adventure for boaters and fishermen. The black-water rivers in Georgetown County are beautiful and bountiful. Winding through miles of cypress swamp, these waters shelter bass, bream, warmouth and catfish year-round. Murrells Inlet provides boat, kayak, jet skis, and Wave Runner rentals or parasailing.
