I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

We enjoyed the unit we stayed in except for a couple of issues. The fireplace wasn't working. Staff came and started it at our request. This was great. The TV/VCR did not have a remote and would not play on the TV despite multiple movies and remotes. We used a computer labtop to watch a movie. We asked about a remote but one would need to be purchased. Why didn't the unit owner have one already on site that was programmed with the VCR? And there were no instructions to use the vcr. There were several remotes without batteries. There was another DVD player but no cords to hook it up with. The TV worked but we didn't have a list of channels and their corresponding identifications for channel choice other than the TV flier given at checkin. When I called to register, I specifically asked for availability to a TV/VCR in our unit. It didn't work. I believe this is the owner's responsibility. Suggestion: the staff should check the function of the units and their amenities before they are rented out. Perhaps remotes ccould be checked out to the renters during their stay so as not to get them lost or stolen.
