I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was very unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This was a strange experience. Apparently the Lodge caters to workers for the resorts, not guests. The check in process was simple enough, though i was initially worried about the safety of the parking garage, when anyone can enter and exit at any time. The morning breakfast was a choice of hot and cold fodds, though the hot was inedible. I always wonder if the owners/managers of the hotel would actually eat the food set out for guests. We stuck with cereal and juice. Black bananas, bruised apples, not too appetizing. The Adventure Haus people were good, but not part of the hotel so they dont count in this review. At breakfast, we listened to bar talk from the apparent hosts, 2 women who chatted with another worker about how sexy he was. I'm sure my 7 year old enjoyed that. You couldnt help but hear them, it was like they were in a bar! The room was sparse, we didn't have a phone, which wasnt a problem until my cell phone started acting up and I couldnt contact my husband any way. The internet did work well though, one day anyway, and I did request a phone, but apparently the managers are offsite, so I was told that they would leave a message for them. Never got a phone. The cleaning service accidently throughout some medication I had on the bathroom counter, even though I did NOT put out the "service please" sign the second day. I couldnt get cups for the in room coffee maker, couldnt get more room coffee, I just kept asking too late I guess. Oh-watch out for the stiff pillows, if you want anything different, there's generally no one around to ask, so bring your own. OK the price was realtively cheap for Deer Valley, 219 a night, but trust me, I WILL NEVER stay here or recommend this place.
