Our three bedroomed detached home is ideally situated in a quiet and secure Bonita Springs neighbourhood close to everything the area has to offer. It benefits from a double-sized corner plot and is surrounded by lots of mature palms, which provide a relaxing environment in which to enjoy the large, south-facing and fully-screened pool area.
Having been completely renovated, the home has a remodeled kitchen with quartz counter tops, new high-end appliances and all the equipment necessary to feel like a home away from home. The master bedroom suite and one of the guest bedroom have queen-size beds with the other guest bedroom having twin beds, however the configuration of the bedrooms can be changed to accommodate differing requirements. There is a second, guest, bathroom and all bedroom and bathroom linens are of a very high quality, which contributes to the overall feeling of luxury. The two larger bedrooms benefit from separate cable set-top boxes and plasma TVs.
The light and spacious lounge is equipped with a large plasma TV, internet-linked Blu-Ray player (offering Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) and a sound bar. The CenturyLink Prism system has 180 TV channels, 10 Mbps wi-fi and free US long-distance calls. There are books, CDs and DVDs for those times you want to stay indoors but, given the property’s garden and pool area, we find those occasions to be few and far between!
The 30’ x 15’ heated pool is south-facing and is part of the fully enclosed, floodlit 1800 square-foot lanai that provides a safe area for dinning, playing with the kids or just chilling out. There is an outdoor gas BBQ and enough seating and loungers to ensure your every comfort is taken care of.
I'm the local manager of this property, which is owned by an English couple from Surrey, England. They are very much looking forward to retiring and spending much of the winter months here!
Eric Booker purchased this house in 2011
Ideally situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood and with easy access to all local amenities, including shops, restaurants and beaches. Close to both Naples and Fort Myers and all the added benefits those two areas bring. Good links to the road network being close to both US41 and I75. 30 minutes drive from Fort Myers International airport.
This house has an oversized lot, large south-facing lanai with 30' x 15' heated pool and is in a nice quiet community next to the Bonita Springs Country Club. The area is safe and secure to bike and walk around with sidewalks along all the roads.
I love this place.
Hello! We’ve been here for six days now and we are in love with this place! We feel so “at home”.
It’s been the most wonderful vacation here in Bonita Springs, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. Considering we’re from Canada “Toronto” the weather was absolutely gorgeous!! We will miss this home and the beautiful people who have made our vacation a success.
This is the perfect place to stay for either a long or short vacation. The house is lovely, well equipped with everything you need and the pool area is fantastic - who needs the beach!
The house is so well placed for all the areas attractions, close to the beach, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, zoos, parks, but it's also in a nice quiet neighborhood so perfect for walking or cycling.
We particularly enjoyed going to Coconut Point which is just a 5-10 mins drive away with all its different shops, restaurants and cinema. Something to do whatever the weather.
Eric, the property manager, is very helpful and friendly.
We would certainly recommend this place to all our family and friends who want to stay in a lovely house, with a gorgeous pool and with perfect weather. We'll certainly be back.
Had a great time in Bonita Springs. Loved the villa and spent many happy hours around the pool and patio suntrap.
We liked the quiet neighbourhood but also the fact that we are close to the local beaches and local restaurants.
We ate at Olive Garden, Outback, PF Changs and Senor Tequilas – all very good.
The villa was clean and very well equipped.
We spent a day on Sanibel, we had been here 22 years ago on our first visit to South East Florida. Great beaches and ate at the Bubble Room again. The Bubble Bread and desserts are particularly good. Only problem is the long queue to get off Sanibel in the evening.
Hope to return again soon. Thanks.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and three small grandsons stayed at our "hometel" for nine nights beginning on March 26 . . . coining the phrase, "hometel" as we all did feel that it was like being at home rather than a hotel. There were many things we loved about this place, to mention a few: It was very clean being well maintained and had many comforts such as adequate space, rich linens, more than enough kitchen supplies, excellent appliances, adequate beds and a wonderful TV and cable system in the living room. Probably the highlight of the place was the pool and pool area, where we ate all our meals . . the only trouble being sometimes getting the grandsons out of the pool! The gas grill came in handy but would suggest having an extra tank available as we ran out of gas our first time using and needed to go and purchase another. It was wonderful to have a large, corner-lot area surrounded by palm trees - especially on Easter when the Easter bunny hid the eggs all around the yard. The quiet neighborhood was a good place for those morning walks also.
The location was ideal for us being only about 1/2 hour away from the Fort Myers airport and halfway between Fort Myers and Naples, both areas which we visited. There are so many sites to visit in the area including Sanibel Island, many beaches and the Everglades. We did these and more. We hope to return to this home next year if it is available.
Thanks to the manager, for making our stay a memorable one!
We chose this place because of its location halfway between Naples and Fort Myers and what a good decision that was. We were able to visit both places easily and more local to the house were shops, bars, restaurants, the beach, golf, tennis and pretty much anything else we wanted to do all within easy reach. It is a lovely house that has obviously just been re-furbished and all the towels, linens, equipment, etc. were new. The place was newly decorated and was very clean and comfortable.
With the house being in a very quiet neighbourhood, we were able to relax straightaway and felt at home very quickly. There are sidewalks all around the neighbourhood and so it was easy to take that morning stroll and chat to the full-time residents. Bonita Springs is part of ‘old’ Florida and is very quiet and safe and this place certainly reflected that.
The outside of this property is where it really scored (which is where we want to spend most of our time when we escape the cold of the UK!) as the pool area is extensive and fully caged. The pool itself is large and heated and was an ideal place for us to start each day (and we finished most of them there as well!). Also, the plot the property sits on seemed to be much larger than usual and the whole area is surrounded by different types of palm trees. This made for a very nice environment in which to sit by the pool and soak up the rays.
We had a great time and will definitely be going back to this place as it is one of the most enjoyable properties we have stayed at in our 20 years of visiting Florida. We also love the area with up-market Naples just a few miles away and the beaches at Barefoot and Delnor-Wiggins very close and seemingly never packed. We didn’t get chance to visit the Everglades, despite it just being down the road, but will be doing so next time. Also, we flew into Tampa and did the long drive down but next time we may try flying into Fort Myers International as it is only a 20-30 minute drive away.
Our home is well-served by the LeeTran public transit system with routes 150 and 600 providing access to the wider Lee County area. (http://www.rideleetran.com/pdfs/SystemMapWeb.pdf)
You should explore the area as you will find many wonderful restaurants and a large variety of shopping. There are exquisite beaches close-by from which a number of Florida wildlife species, including bottlenose dolphin, can be seen.
A sunny and mild climate all year round makes Southwest Florida a paradise for long or short vacation stays. Our neighborhood is very close to the Gulf of Mexico and is midway between Naples in the south and Fort Myers to the north.
Other sights and activities include: golf, tennis, boating, kayaking, Everglades Boat Tours, Everglades City Museum, trips to Marco, Sanibel and Captiva islands, Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park and beach, Sun-N-Fun Waterpark in Collier Seminole State Park, Zoo of Naples, two day boat-trip to Key West, the culture of Naples, the history of Fort Myers, Tin City Historical Village in Naples, Cocohatchee Nature Center, Naples Trolley Tours.
Retail therapy is very well catered for in this area with excellent shopping at Waterside Shops, Coconut Point Mall, Gulf Coast Town Center, Miromar Outlet and many, many more locations.
