Incredible condo at Mauna Kea - would not hesitate to recommend (and revisit!)

We have rented a few times from VRBO, but this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would, and we would (will?) definitely rent this unit again.
We stayed there for a week in October for a combination work/vacation trip. We had extended family join us, including my elderly father (who has mobility issues). This ground floor unit was perfect for us, and very comfortable for all of us (6 adults and 2 elementary school aged children).
The owner of this unit (David) was prompt, friendly, and very easy to communicate with. He answered all my many questions about the unit to help us pack appropriately. The property manager (Gail) was a sweetheart who was attentive and professional (she even went out of her way to mail back a pair of glasses my mom accidentally left behind).
The home is beautiful (and the photos do not do it justice). It very large and spacious with a large outdoor space as well, where we barbecued and dined each night (watching the incredible sunset). We appreciated being so close to the Hapuna and Mauna Kea hotels (for work, plus the incredible beaches), which were a long walk, or very short drive away. Since you have club membership, you can park at the Mauna Kea hotel member lot (it is near impossible to find parking otherwise), and enjoy their beach services as any hotel guest would. The beach is so beautiful and not crowded at all and we didn't have to bring towels since they set you up with towels and chairs at both Mauna Kea and Hapuna.
The kitchen was very well stocked with many small appliances (rice cookers, slow cooker, blender, toaster) and having the grill was fantastic. We stocked up at Costco by the airport when we arrived, and made short trips to Foodland Farms at Mauna Lani for smaller items. There is also a small but nice local farmer's market in Waimea on Saturday mornings where we found some delicious produce and local jams.
There was a large meteor shower on one of the first nights we were there, and we pulled out the patio chairs onto the lawn to lay on for over an hour one night - it was truly magical and I wish I could have recorded the kids saying "wow!" "oooh!" and "cool!" over and over again. Next time :)
Thank you so much, David, for sharing your lovely place with our family. It was an incredible trip that we will always remember. We hope to visit again soon!
