1 bedrm, 1 bath, full kitchen walking distance to town!

The guest house has a queen bed and a dual reclining sofa that is comfortable for children so it can actually sleep four if two of you are small! The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to cook. The bathroom has a washer/dryer as well. Your towels and linens are provided for you. You have access to the yard at the main house next door. It is fenced and safe for children and small pets. In addition, the main has has a private suite with a king bed, private bath and closet. This room is off the large country kitchen and can be closed off for privacy. You also have access to the washer/dryer in the main house off the kitchen. You may use the kitchen if you like. There is a outdoor gas grill for your use. In addition, the driveway can easily accommodate two large RVs.

Nearest Beach : Galveston at 200 Miles
Nearest Barpub : Huebels - historic and seen in several movies! at 2 Miles

Nearest Restaurant : Two in Smithville and many in Bastrop at 13 Miles
Car: recommended

Smithville is a small town 45 minutes from Austin. You can take the country roads to anywhere and miss traffic! We are a quiet but friendly town. Many movies have been filmed here; Hope Floats, Tree of Life, Doonby, and many others. You will feel at home!
