Great family vacation! Going back this summer!

This was our first time to Lake Leelanau and we had a great time. This location was perfect for our family reunion, where we actually rented 3 different cabins, including the Cozy Chalet. There was plenty of space for getting together in the pavilion for cookouts or even in the porch areas for the adults while there was room to play games for the kids.
We stayed in the Cozy Chalet, with 3 kids upstairs and two sets of adults in the two bedrooms downstairs. It was good sized and clean. The air conditioning and washer / dryer were great for the long stay, which is something that you don't always get in a rental.
The owner was very helpful in setting things up and was around every day to ensure our vacation was going well.
The views were great from all rooms, even the Cozy Chalet which was slightly up the hill had a beautiful view. While there is no beach, the kids did play in the water and Lake Leelanau has several sand bars that we took the kids to on a boat. Finally, it was only about 20 minutes to the sand dunes of Lake Michigan when we decided to take a trip.
All in all, an excellent vacation and we are coming back in 2013!
