About Julian Nagendran

Originally the owner built the cottage for his son, who was studying at St. Andrews University. From the beginning the prime location made it very desirable with current St. Andrews students, who would rent the property year round just to reserve a spot in the luxury cottage. Upon staying in a bed and breakfast, similar to one that most golfers reside in during their stay, he realized that his cottage was superior. It provided more comfort and space, was in a better location and the view was unlike any other. he decided to make this luxurious property available in the summer time to those who would appreciate it the most. The owner currently resides in Switzerland with his family and comes to Scotland often to check on this property along with others he has acquired.

Great Find!

This rental is what my family and I have been looking for in the U.K since we started visiting a few years ago.

The cottage is a HUGE step up from where we have stayed in Scotland previously. The apartment was spacious, with plenty of space in the living and dining area and more importantly in the bedroom. The kids usually have to share a bedroom and bathroom but with this cottage everyone was able to enjoy their own space.

I played the New Course, Carnousti, Kingsbarn and Royal Aberdeen, which the property manager helped me book and my wife took in the historical sites, which was also perfect as this rental lies right by the walls of the historical site of the St. Andrews castle.

A+ in my book. I will definitely be returning with the family soon.

Amazing Place to Stay in St. Andrews

My 3 friends and I take an annual golf trip and have been to Scotland several times in the past 2 decades.

This is The Best renting experience within St. Andrews we have had. Each of us had our own room, bathroom, and there is a big kitchen.

I personally like to to cook and have a drink in my own area after walking 18. and the accommodations prior to this property were crammed, usually one room for two people and shared bathrooms and any dining or drinking was in a public space. I like to indulge at bars and restaurants too but this place provided the luxury of home amenities along with all that St. Andrews has to offer.

Very well priced from past experiences as well!

Wanted a restful vacation & this fit the bill perfectly. The rental was quiet, spacious & well maintained. Located in a beautiful spot with views of the estuary. Being able to use the equipped kitchen was nice so we didn’t have to have all meals in restaurants. When we did go out to eat the walk was pleasant & the restaurants just 8 – 10 mins away

Golfing is good & just walking distance away. On the days we didn’t golf we did a little sightseeing - Fasque house is a beautiful castle & close by. The guys with us also got in a couple of whiskey tours.

Would definitely recommend the location to friends, especially golfing buddies & their wives.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
