If you are looking for a place to stay in Paris, this is it! First, Marie-Christine and Marc are amazing people, generous, and will even track you down when you are lost.... They are honest, kind, and lovely to meet. That alone makes this place worth the stay!
The apartment is perfectly situated in the middle, truly center, of Paris. The access to everything is so easy - walking distance to most things (Pantheon, Louvre, Orsay, etc) and only a few steps away to the hop on/hop off bus if you prefer or the Botobus (hop on/hop off boat). And the best part is that you are literally steps away from Notre Dame...seeing it at night (or anytime you want) is surreal! Coffee shops, restaurants, bakery (delicious!)...oy. Lots of goodies that are just a blink away.
The apartment itself is scrumptious. What you see is what you get. It is perfect! Everything is comfortable, homey, and quiet. Beautiful views of the River Seine. You can make this a home away from home if you like or use it as a base. Either way, you win. The access is secure as well so safety was never a concern. I was traveling alone so that was a big deal for me. The apartment is likely best for a couple of people, but the big chairs could sleep the younger ones.
If you are looking for the best place in Paris, this is it. I absolutely loved my visit, made better by meeting two fabulous people and staying in an apartment that more than exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone seeking to have a truly fabulous experience in Paris.
