Excellent Pocono Get-away

A fantastic house in a great location. You can tell the owner thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and easy: GPS programmed with local stores, sights, etc; Netflix, Pandora and more for entertainment; helpful notes; kitchen pantry that's better stocked than my one at home; comfortable beds; beautiful porch and outdoor property; much more! Room for family, friends, even in-laws. We played cards and boardgames into the morning hours on a nice tall, square table. Half the family hit the slopes at Blue Mountain and half stayed and enjoyed the peace doing puzzles, reading and online. Able to go to Blue, ski, come back for lunch, ski, back for dinner, and then ski more. Local roads are plowed extremely well and owner came to plow house driveway first thing the morning after snow. Palmerton is a cool little town nearby that we ran out to for groceries. Definitely would recommend any season!
Owner's Response: Thank you Caroline for the great words.. it seems you and Jim and the rest of your group really used the house in exactly the way I had envisioned when I set it up as a vacation rental. Now imagine a summer stay, being able to hang out on the porch, listening to the streams in the background, grilling some burgers and planning an evening around the fire with your family, maybe taking a walk in the woods.. the kids playing in the stream.. incredibly relaxing. I hope you come back!
