Fully Furnished – Short Stay Apartment located 402 La Trobe Street Melbourne, in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Just 10 minutes’ walk to Etihad Stadium, Southern Cross Station, Spencer Street shopping plaza, Queen Victoria Market and the Melbourne central where shopping and food is located just across the road, you will find that everything you need is within walking distance from this apartment. On the front door is the Free City Circle Tram and is very close to all kind of transport such as trams, trains and buses.

This inner city two-level, 3 bedrooms - La Trobe Street City apartment has a balcony with exceptional city views, polished floor boards throughout both levels. Three spacious bedrooms features 1 king size bed and 2 queen size beds which located upstairs. Upstairs has 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, 1 of the bathroom has a separate shower and a bath with the laundry facility with washing machine and dryer. Child safety gate available for upstairs. Dining/living area and a toilet located downstairs. The kitchen overlooks the open-plan living/dining area and is fully-equipped with dishwasher, fridge, stove and microwave oven.

Other features include: Reverse cycle heating/air-conditioning, intercom, lift access, and remote control access to one under-building car parking space.

Bed Configuration: 1 King bed, 2 Queen Beds and 1 sofa bed

The apartment is well suited to couples, families and business stays and can comfortably accommodate 6 people.

NICE PLACE BUT NOT WELL MAINTAIN

We travel in a group of 7 adults. The place is nice and so closed to Victoria Market but not well maintain. As soon as we arrived, we realise that there is a leak under the sink and it was not repaired during our stay. We cooked our own meal but unfortunately only 1 out of 4 pot n pans can be used ( the rest are rusty). Its worth staying in this place but ensure that the pot n pan can be used, Free parking and wifi.

The real estate agent was very attentive.
The apartment looks well presented at first, and is located close to most things in Melbourne CBD. There are a few things that let it down, but they are mostly due to the service, and not the apartment itself.
There was no linen provided for the fold out bed, which the real estate agent knew we would be using. I had to collect extra linen from the real estate office, and it consisted of two sheets only, even during winter.
There are no hand towels provided in any of the bathrooms (all three bathrooms have toilets, but only two have showers).
The upper level was not properly cleaned prior to our entry, and the floors were very dusty.
One of the queen beds is broken - the boards holding the mattress up are broken in places. The bed is uneven, and uncomfortable to sleep on.
Despite the house rules stating that all dishes must be washed, or put through the dishwasher on exiting, there are no cleaning products provided for same.

Other than that, there are a couple of places where the walls have sustained a little damage, and have been patched up. These areas haven't been painted over, though, so they are a little unsightly.

We will be staying elsewhere in future.

GREAT CENTRAL LOCATION. SPACIOUS FLAT. RATHER SPARSELY FURNISHED. TRAFFIC NOISE NOT TOO BAD.

We stayed five nights at this perfectly located apartment in the Central Business District. It is a very spacious duplex on the fourth and fifth (top) floor of a renovated building - perfect for us visitors from the U.S. with two couples and a 2-year-old. Four star rather than five star, because the sofa in the living room needs replacing, there is only one piece of artwork to enliven the white walls, and the kitchen equipment is minimal. (The leasing agent kindly provided us with additional items immediately upon our request.).

La Trobe Street is one of the main thoroughfares in the center of Melbourne. There is considerable traffic noise in the apartment, but we slept well despite that.

Alex, the agent, was extremely efficient. The apartment seems to be good value by Melbourne standards.
