This self-contained one bedroom apartment is inside Mantra 4 star hotel located in the heart of Sydney's CBD suitable for both business and leisure travellers. My wife and I stayed here for a week. The apartment was beautiful, very well equipped, clean and very quiet. The apartment was exactly as described on the website. The location was excellent, very convenient as it was walking distance to the Darling Harbour, restaurants and shopping. Incredibly comfy beds, good shower with nice water pressure. The washing machine and dryer provided makes life much easier than staying in hotels. It really is a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again. We would heartily recommend this accommodation to everyone.

PERFECT LOCATION FOR A FANTASTIC STAY IN SYDNEY

This apartment lived up to our expectations for the 5 days we were in Sydney. The location is ideal being close to shops restaurants and iconic Sydney land marks and attractions.

Mellisa was prompt in her communications and very easy to deal with.

Her recommendations for bars and Restaurants was spot on and we particularly enjoyed the $10 steaks at Maloneys.

We recommend this apartment and would not hesitate to stay again when next in Sydney

COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, HELPFUL, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING..

Our wonderful host Melissa was patiently waiting for us when we arrived for our first visit to Sydney from Western Australia. Melissa's suggestion to get a Private car/Taxi was great. At a flat rate of $45 and we felt safer in an unknown city. My mum, daughter 16 and I stayed here for one glorious week. I particularly liked that the king bed could be divided into two singles, which was great so no one had to choose who was going to sleep together!! :) My daughter love sleeping in the sofa bed and found it very comfortable. Melissa was very helpful and a world of information about Sydney and how to get around it.
Often we caught the train from Town hall Station. Which is only a short walk from the apartment. Once at Town Hall station we could travel anywhere, mostly we would go to Circular Quay and then took the ferry to different destinations. (We would get day passes as it worked out loads cheaper because we caught the train back and forth so much and mum as a pensioner, as super cheap!!)
Almost every night we took the short walk to Darling Harbour for dinner, either at a nice restaurant or the food hall.
Woolworths is just opposite Town Hall and we often went there for things we needed.
The location of this apartment is perfect, whether you're a tourist like us or in town on business and it has everything you need even if you want to cook every meal. We used the microwave and kettle plenty!!
Because the apartment is so close to all CBD transport it was also very easy for us to take a day trip to the Blue Mountains, seeing the Three Sisters and Katoomba. All it took was a short early morning walk to Town Hall (less than 5 minutes) then a train to Circular Quay and then another train to Katoomba. All up about 2.5 hrs. And the scenery was great all the way. We caught the 6 pm train from Katoomba back to Sydney.

OUR SWEET HOME IN SYDNEY

My husband and I started planning a family vacation from Canada all the way to Australia when my son was born seven years ago. This March, we finally got to take our two kids there. Luckier, we found this vacation apartment right at the heart of downtown Sydney.

The apartment is 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour where there is a wonderful kids playground and water park. There are also plenty of restaurants and eateries. The famous Sydney Fish Market is 20 minutes walk and it's a nice place to have some fresh seafood lunch. We were told there was firework each Saturday nights but unfortunately the one during our stay was cancelled. There are a few buses going to Circular Quay on George St. which is two blocks from the apartment. One of the buses (555) is free and it saved us some money traveling around Sydney.

The apartment was equipped with almost everything I needed. I made breakfast every morning and most of the dinners while the kids resting before we headed out to the park again. I even found some Ziploc bags to bring our picnic supplies to Manly Beach! All the bedding was also very clean and high quality.

Last but not least, the owner Melissa is really helpful and friendly. She patiently answered all my questions and provided travel tips before we booked the apartment. Our flight arrived Sydney late at night and she waited there with everything ready for us. Sydney is an expensive country to visit. Thanks to Melissa's thoughtfulness, we had a wonderful time in Sydney!

In Sydney you really have just two choices ... the Ultra Luxury Hotels and this Great Apartment at The Mantra on Kent. Anyone who selects the Luxury Hotels would be wrong. Melissa, our host at The Mantra on Kent was fabulous. The apartment was excellent, Melissa was very responsive and you simply cannot do any better for quality, value and responsiveness. IDEAL LOCATION, FANTASTIC HOST

I have been to Sydney multiple times, but never with my family. I wanted to find a place that was central, well-connected to public transport, near to restaurants and shopping, and provided excellent access to museums and cultural sites. This flat was all that and more. Melissa was a gracious and accommodating host, who not only provided a comfortable home away from home but also provided advice and support for tourism. I am happy to say that my family now loves Sydney as much as I do and that is in part due to the excellent stay we had in this HomeAway home. The description was accurate; the location, layout and facilities as described; the property was clean and well-maintained; the owner provided excellent customer service; and I definitely would recommend this to friends (in fact, I already have!). I especially appreciated the washing machine.
