My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hawks Nest. We came to Galveston for the Festival of Lights and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The location was ideal with beautiful beaches just minutes away. The house was so comfortable and spacious, very well equipped with everything you might need. I really enjoyed the deck area and being able to fish from the dock. This is a property that I would definitely recommend, and I look forward to returning.

Hawks Nest getaway

I stayed at this beach house with 4 other friends after running a race on the beach in Galveston. A quick drive from the race this beach house that is tucked away in a nice neighborhood and located on the canal was instantly comforting. The owner has provided all the amenities of being at home. They have outdoor lighting and furnishings both upstairs and downstairs to make evening entertaining and relaxing possible. Inside, we found a wonderful, spacious, and comfortable family room area with cable TV. We also found several sleeping areas with options of double or bunk beds. There is also a large kitchen, but for dinner we walked to a restaurant that is located in the neighborhood. The beach is also within walking distance. This is a fantastic getaway home.
