The spacious Chalet Bibendum is beautiful sunny exposured and is designed to enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience of 360-degree breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif.

Chalet Bibendum sleeps up to 8 guests in four ensuite bedrooms. The open living area with a soaring 8 meter high ceiling is divided by an impressive fireplace and connected to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with terrace, all with panoramic views.

All 4 ensuite bedrooms have their own character and charm. There are radiators in each room to be in control of your own comfortable room temperature. Separate toilets are situated on each floor.

At the end of an enjoyable day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub to soak up more of the fresh mountain air and the incredible views of Les Drus, Brevent and Flegere , relax in our amazing sauna or curl up in one of the comfortable sofas. It is the perfect place to escape and chill out in front of a roaring fire.

Chalet Bibendum is to experience the Bibendum feeling: “Your home away from home with amazing surroundings, delicious food & high services in a luxury comfortable ambiance”.

The 300 year old farmhouse has been tastefully renovated and maintains its original features of stone and wooden beams. The wooden gable end of the house has been replaced with glass to give wonderful panoramic views. This spacious, open-plan living area and well-equipped kitchen and dining are all with stunning scenes, ideal for a family or a group of friends to stay after an exhilarating day in the mountains and enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

Our lounge terrace with sunny exposure, providing visitors the opportunity to absorb the spectacular view of Mont Blanc and the l'Aiguille du Midi.

Chalet Facilities

There is floor heating to keep a comfortable and consistent temperature. Solar panels assist the central heating system. Apple TV & Sky and a music system is available for your entertainment. We have a selection of dvd’s and a database of good music of all genres. There is a WIFI network, IMac, printer and good old fashioned board games to enjoy. The old hayloft ladders form a well stocked library for those who want nothing more than to curl up with a good book.

We also have all the equipement & safety features for babies and small children.

Wood fired hot tub and sauna; In the garden you will discover is a wood fired hot tub and in the cave an amazing custom made sauna ideal for those après 'mountain' moments.

More pleasures...

An excellent range of selected wines is provided in your 'Kharma' Bar and a professional espresso machine to make amazing coffees.

Among the multitude of quality amenities, you will be treated to L’Occitane bath & shower products, fairtrade hand-cut organic soaps and bath melts, wood for the fireplace and BBQ, fresh fruits & flowers and a welcome drink upon arrival.

Dream skiing holiday in luxurious accommodation

Our two families with teenage children enjoyed the skiing holiday of a lifetime at this superb chalet. Jolanda and Olaf were relaxed but attentive hosts, and every detail from the bed linen to delicious home baking were perfect. Our charming chef Basile cooked sublime food, which we could enjoy in the most relaxing and comfortable chalet we have ever stayed in.

Our weeklong ski vacation stay at Chalet Bibendum was exceptional and worth it. Jolanda and Olaf were wonderful hosts making sure we were very well taken care of. Jolanda's deserts were an added bonus. Try her Dutch apple pie that is to die for! They were very attentive but not intrusive and had everything taken care of giving each one of us plenty of time to enjoy our respective chosen winter activities for the day. The chalet itself was very cosy and relaxing. Chef Basile's food creations will excite a foodie's taste buds and will make you yearn for some more. His innovative use of fresh, local and regional ingredients made every meal exciting and so satisfying. Excellent food + wonderful hosts + breath taking view = Very well relaxed vacation. Stay at Chalet Bibendum is highly recommended

“Living the dream....Our Magical Christmas

Christmas 2012 is one we will never forget!

We had the privilege of spending the 12 days of Christmas at Bibendum, from Dec. 16-28.
Our group consisted of a family of 8: Grandparents with their Daughter, Son and his wife, and their 3 children (ages 6,5 and 3).

From the moment that Olaf greeted us at Geneva Airport, we knew we were in good hands. Transfer to the chalet was a breeze. Arriving at the chalet, we were all so impressed. It exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Rooms were all beautifully appointed. Living areas were extremely cozy and comfortable. Beautiful artwork. Beds were a dream. Hot tub and Sauna were both beautiful and enjoyed frequently. Everyday upon returning home from skiing, Olaf would have the hottub warmed up and ready to enjoy. Each day started with an incredible breakfast spread, courtesy of Jolanda. While we were enjoy breakfast, she would already be busy baking treats for afternoon tea. Dinner most nights meant a visit from Chef Basile. From the moment he arrived, intoxicating aromas were soon teasing us all of the meal to come. He never disappointed. From cooking meals for the kids, to serving us 5 STAR meals, he was amazing. If you didnt pay close attention, you could forget he was there, but once you sat down to eat, you were so happy that he was. Everything he made was so thoughtfully created and tasted AMAZING......and we are FOODIES!

Jolanda and Olaf did so many small things to make our stay that much more memorable. They were quick to arrange ski passes, book meals out for us, shuttle us all over Chamonix, cater to our every need.....and always with a smile on their faces. By the time we left, even the kids were sad to say goodbye to them.

Located in Les Bois, we were close to everything. Walking to town thru the nordic park, to the sledge/toboggan hills, on the beautiful trails. Shuttle van was comfortable, warm and always there when it was too far to walk. The CRAZY amount of snow that fell during our stay only helped to make it that much more memorable.

We have been home a few weeks now, but think fondly back to our INCREDIBLE stay at Chalet BIbendum often.

Cant say enough about Jolanda & Olaf.....from the moment we booked online, months in advance, to the moment we sadly left the Chalet, they were extremely helpful. Everything is AS ADVERTISED. They are both such lovely people, there when you need them, and invisible when you dont

Bibendum and the mountain is an experience you never forget!
Our arrival at the chalet was very nice. The owners made us feel welcome and everything was well organised en clean.
The chalet is beautifull decorated in detail and the views from inside on the mountains makes it even better. The customer service is very good, because the owners clean on regular basis, are availble when you need them, give you information about the area, without disturbing your privacy.
After a day walking in the mountains the owners warmed the hottub for us and we could enjoy the sauna. In the afternoon we lounged on the veranda, where the sun shines.
The housewine they serve tasted well and we even had the luxery of the Chef, who cooked a great dinner for us.
Chamonix gives you al you want like nice restaurants and shops, etc.
Overall it was the best week ever and we certainly come back to chalet Bibendum
