Beautiful house, but....

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This was a beautiful house in an awesome location. However, the fireplace didn't work and when called management the response was quite confusing...stating that if the house is at temperature, it will not come on? That the upstairs thermostat was for the fireplace and the lower floor thermostat was for the whole house. Didn't make sense, we lowered the temp in the whole house and the fireplace still did not work. Very disappointing as we are use to celebrating our Holidays around a fireplace. The other issue we had was the dishwasher didn't work. This was a huge disappointment as we celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all on sepearte days with huge meals and had to hand wash dishes. If I would have know that the dishwasher wasn't going to work we would have catered in but unfortunately we had pre-bought all the groceries. It was very dissapointing that no one was sent out to address the issues we called about or at least offered us a discount due to these issues were not corrected. However, if they fix those two issues, I would have rated it a very high 5 and would happily recommend the property.
