Russian River Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)
Nothing beats the Russian River for a relaxing, fun, family vacation. We named our house Ohana House meaning 'Family'. Immediate family, extended family, and friends all fit that definition. It is the perfect location to enjoy company, and the scenery around.
The home itself has quite a bit a character being that it was built back in the 1930's. It looks newer but it is a true old river cabin creaks squeaks and all.

The house has a lovely kitchen with a great eating area on the deck as well as a dining room. Good sized family room equipped with large screen TV, DVD player, DVD library, plush couch, and a pellet stove.
Upstairs you can find a jack and jill bathroom with two bedrooms with 2 Queen beds. Both Rooms have a pass through to a smaller room equipped with a small bunk bed and a daybed with a trundle underneath. Both upstairs bedroom have doors that lead to a great deck with views of the river. Perfect for coffee in the morning. There is also a futon on the enclosed deck great for some under the stars sleeping if you are so inclined.
With the name Ohana House the deco thorough the home has a beach/Hawaiian feel and modern upgrades make it feel as home. If you and your family are the type of people that come out to the river or vacation spot to enjoy the activities and area around you this is the place for you!

About Lydia Fodor
We enjoy our time at the river and wanted to create a place that allows people to enjoy the area as much as we do.
Lydia Fodor purchased this cottage in 2009
Why Lydia Fodor chose Russian River
We are what the area calls 'River Rats'. Spend our days on the river soaking up the sun and simply fell in love with the area and the house. Oh and the wine in the area is pretty good too ;)
What makes this cottage unique
Our favorite thing about the Ohana House has to be our back yard. Secluded just enough to enjoy dinner outside with friends and a s'more by the fire. It is also just a private walk away from a great beach to enjoy watching people canoe down the river rope swing from the bridge or take a swim.
