Had a great time on the mountain with plenty of runs, great terrain park, and VERY SHORT LIFT LINES!! Then great Apres Ski in the bar afterwards. The CONDO was perfect. After our weekend we had a wide open drive home on Sunday night! I couldn't believe there is an alternative to sitting on the I-90 parking lot for 2 hours once you hit the IL border. What have I been thinking for the last several years? There was an indoor water park and 2 casinos about 30 min away too, that we visited. We plan to go again this year. ”

About John & Mary Kavanagh

John and Mary first visited Shanty Creek during the winters of their teenage years. Later, Shanty Creek became a favorite destination for their young sons to ski and snowboard. The Kavanaghs purchased their condo knowing that they would use it with their growing family to create memories that would last forever. It has been a wonderful location for their family to get-a-way and reconnect with one another during busy and hectic times . They invite you to come enjoy Northern Michigan and create great memories that your family with cherish forever.

Exceeded Expectations!

This condo far exceeded our expectations. Not only is it beautifully decorated, we were surprised at how spacious each and every room is. Especially the kitchen and living area which are the largest of any rental we've experienced to date. Pride in ownership is evident by the condition of this property which is very well maintained, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The convenient location, definitely ski-in / ski-out, allowed the luxury for each of us to come and go skiing as we pleased. The owners were responsive, easy to work with, and wonderfully patient and flexible with me as I changed our booking dates 3 times. We also enjoyed the ski resort and had a blast watching the Slush Cup that took place during our visit. Thank you to the owners for sharing their condo with my family. We could not have had a more enjoyable time. No doubt we'll return in the future and will highly recommend this rental to others.
