My wife and I LOVE to get away when we can. Since that's so infrequent, we are pretty picky about where we go. When we saw an ad for this cozy cabin up Big Cottonwood Canyon, took a look at the pics, we jumped on it. We were a 5 minute walk and 30 sec drive from some of the most incredible skiing in the world. This is a little paradise at the end of the road. "Dave" met us upon check-in, and could not have made us feel more at home. We felt like the red carpet was being rolled out for us. We LOVE watching movies and no expense has been spared in providing HD/Direct TV access in the large living room/theatre room, bedroom, and yes, in the bathroom. (Just don't drop the remote in the tub!). Bed was comfortable and the bathroom is just a hoot. Beautifully and cleverly designed. Not sure I've ever seen one like it. Dry Sauna was great. Despite the outside temperatures being 10-15 degrees. The temperature remained just as we like it. I'm buying that "Nest" thermostat today for our place. Amazing. Surrounded by snow, it helped having 4 wheel drive, but we had three days of no phones, no emails, and no noise. I have to rate our stay a solid "10." I hope to return in the spring and hike Silver Lake, because I know the Moose will be out. So glad we found this hideaway. We're hooked. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and comfortable. You made us feel like family.
