I'm a little late writing this, but I do want to say how much my husband and I loved our time at the Spath House. We had our older children and some family friends come to Sequim and share our vacation with us. This house was the perfect place to gather, share our stories of the beautiful peninsula, eat, laugh, and relax.
I think one of my favorite memories is going to sleep and waking up to the beautiful view from our bedroom windows - we could watch the fog come in from the mountains in the morning and the trees outside made the most relaxing noise as the breeze shifted the leaves.
We loved sightseeing all across the peninsula and found Sequim, Port Angeles, and Port Townsend friendly and wonderful places to eat and explore. In fact, we're hoping to relocate out in that area - that's how much we loved it! But with mountains, ocean, and beautiful lavender farms, what's not to love? :)
Our hosts were friendly, approachable, knowledgeable about the area, and I guess pretty much all you could ask for in a host. They have provided a house that they obviously take much personal pride in - and should take pride in! It is beautifully crafted, the decor is delightful, and the outside landscaping shows just as much love and care.
As you can probably tell by now, I can't say enough good things about the Spath House and our time there. It was truly remarkable in every way and has given all of us treasured memories for a lifetime.
