Condo building and amenities are great. We loved the beach near the condo and the condo's location on the island in general. Unit is functional, but only has an internal "air conditioner" on wheels for the bedroom. You really can't use this device to cool the whole place, because air blows in from the veranda. In late April/early May, the "air conditioner" is really ineffective between noon and six. It is quite possible that may places in STX don't offer full air conditioning. I just think it should be disclosed. That being said, I would probably stay here again, but my wife would not.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that your family was uncomfortable. It was unseasonably hot the week you were in St. Croix - mid April. Generally, most rentals on St. Croix have limited air conditioning units and few that I know cool the entire place. Generally the breezes keep things cool. This unit has cathederal ceilings, making the view and the ambiance very nice, and yes, that does make it more difficult to cool with an a/c unit.
