“Incredible Time, Once again, At Leatherwood”
5 of 5 stars
We discovered Leatherwood around 2000, and can say that it is, without doubt, one of the greatest places on earth! We rented Bear Rest over the Merlefest weekend, and loved the place. Bear rest is a bit of a hike from the Leatherwood entrance (4.5 miles), but is a beautiful home with super comfortable beds, a great view, nice kitchen, and is very, very clean. We had dinner and lunch at the Saddlebrook restaurant - the food was great (they ran out of their pulled pork before the end of the weekend because it is fantastic!) and the Saddlebrook staff is super nice and friendly. The thing we liked the very least was that we had to go back to Boston the Monday after Merlefest.
