BESITOS HOUSE. We named it Besitos which means 'hugs and kisses' because of the way this charming circa1930 house welcomes and comforts each guest. Located in the historic district of Georgetown and near Southwestern University. This little cottage is close to the downtown square where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The Palace theater is a community theater just off the square. Parks along the San Gabriel not far from downtown. One bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a full and a twin. TV's located in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. Full kitchen ready to cook. Morning room is perfect for that first cup of coffee. Relax on the front porch swing or retreat out back for a glass of wine and a good cigar. Recently redecorated with new furniture, paint, and linens.
Our experience was great! The house was perfect. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
Lovely house with beautiful furnishings and decor. The owner even left us snacks upon our arrival! It's perfect for our fun little weekend in Georgetown. We would definitely stay here again!
This house is a perfect stay. Every detail has been considered and it is very clean. The house itself is so charming and cozy, you can't help but to smile and relax. And then everything you could possibly need is there for you from WiFi to Qtips, and even a little welcome snack. My husband and I stay in a lot of rentals, this is no doubt our favorite. There's even covered parking and a lovely yard for grilling and chilling. All you have to do is show up. We will definitely stay here again. And recommend this lovely home to anyone.
From the canopy of trees that lined the narrow streets to the picturesque campus of Southwestern University, Georgetown has old world charm. The town square is uncomplicated, traffic is willing to adapt to amblers that are taking in the scenery and not paying attention to their movement. A meal at Gumbo’s is a delight. We attended the Graduation commencement exercises and stayed at "Besito House". The listing is just as described. We especially enjoyed the sitting room with the large windows in the back that allowed us to see and listen to the beautiful Cardinals and Mocking birds sing in the morning. We had a little bit of rain that was pleasant to enjoy since we live in such a dry part of Texas. The Wi-Fi worked great. The beds were soft and cozy. The kitchen was well supplied, we only cooked breakfast. A lot of extra amenities were provided, like a magnified mirror, tissues in numerous rooms, shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap and dryer sheets. The property was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the porch swing as the rain fell softly. Thank you for offering this property to escape to.
There is only one word that can describe our stay................perfect. The house was immaculate. The driveway was long, wide and flat....perfect for backing in our motorcycle trailer. There was coffee, an ice maker and a covered deck that was perfect for relaxing with a cold beer after a day at the race track. Would I stay there again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Absolutely with one exception....don't try to rent it next year for the Moto GP weekend. Why? Because I'll be there.
Our family stayed in this house to avoid celebrating Christmas in a hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Cute, cozy, well-equipped -- we were very happy with the accommodations and recommend it to others with no reservations whatsoever.
The convenient location and fully furnished kitchen and laundry facility was just what we needed for the circumstances. The whole house was so clean and comfortable and a wonderful place for us to rest. We thank you so much for your hospitality.
