This beautiful suite can make any vacation memorable and magical. What makes this house unique

This property has been very enjoyable for my family and I. We have been living in Glendale for over 20 years and we fall more in love with it every day! The majority of the people that reside in Glendale are nice, family oriented people who take pride in their homes. It's wonderful to be in a place where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a nice hike along the mountains and then come home and get ready for a night out in the town. Having the beach 30 minutes away, the snow 45 minutes away, and the fun of the city 10 minutes away has allowed us to have a lot of fun without losing touch of ourselves.

Having just returned home after staying in this fabulous suite, we are still talking about how much we loved it and what a good choice it was. My husband, myself and our 12 year old son stayed here for 6 days and could not have been happier. Very clean, wonderful owners...amazing neighborhood. Sooo quiet and peaceful....we slept great! Very nice to come home to after our days of sightseeing. Everything is within a short drive, although when you come back from a busy day, this wonderful retreat is just what you need to unwind and relax. Thanks so much to Elsa and Jose..nice to meet you...your home is beautiful.....wonderful landscaping....beautiful views! Would love to return! Linda, Mike and Anthony

Private and Quiet

I needed someplace to stay while attending a week long course at Glendale Community College. The Bella Vista Suite was perfect. It is private and quiet. It has a balcony with a table and chairs, so as to enjoy the "bella vista". Plus it is essentially a straight shot down to where the college is located 5-10 minutes away, which was great for me. The owners are available if needed. But I never had a need, so I never saw them. The owners answered my emails promptly and answered all of my questions, great to deal with. The neighborhood is nice. As a single female I felt safe walking the neighborhood at dusk. I am really glad I chose the suite over any of the hotel options available in the area.

Lovely Stay Overlooking Glendale lights

Owners' family were very kind to us and the suite was beautiful. The home is several miles up in the mountains, so is very quiet and serene. We took many walks in the area, and enjoyed the great California landscaping. The bedroom is large with two big closets and there is ample drawer space and a large flat screened TV. The bathroom had two sinks, but only one had working faucets when we visited. Everything else was in spotless condition.

Two caveats: If any guest had mobility problems the 10 plus steps up the landscaped front and then 8 or so steps up to the deck of the suite could be a problem. Also, if staying for more than a few days, it might be advisable to ask about a 2x/week cleaning service, as there is no broom or vacuum cleaner.

The location of the suite is excellent. We are quite familiar with the area, but really enjoyed exploring the very pretty Glendale residential areas, plus the wonderful Porto's Bakery/restaurant on Brand Blvd - a Latino establishment with a great Zagat score. Other great restaurants in nearby Eagle Rock area - Auntie Em's, The Oinkster, and Cacao's Mexitessan, and Cafe Four - and then of course Pasadena temptations.
