2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5, Remodeled Craftsman Home in Central Austin

All our rental homes are fully licensed [Austin license # 111861]. If you have a large group or want separate living accommodations we have several different sized rental homes in the area, so we can always accommodate your group!

Gorgeous Craftsman home built in 1933 but completely remodeled in 2012 from the ground up. The home has 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed in each room, and also features a beautiful and peaceful sun porch. It sleeps up to 4 adults or up to 5 guests total. It has newly refinished hardwood flooring throughout the entire home, as well as new granite counters and cabinets in the kitchen, new stainless steel appliances, and all new bathroom with new vanity, glass tile, tile floors, faucets, fixtures, & lights. The home is 850 sqft, but feels larger thanks to the open floor plan and sun porch. There is a front loading washer/dryer in the home, ceiling fans throughout, a covered patio, and a fenced yard with outdoor furniture. The home is located within a few blocks of the intersection of Lamar Blvd & 2222, and is within walking distance of the Crestview Rail Station which will take you downtown in minutes! There are also several restaurants within a very short walking distance.

The home comes stocked with fresh linens, large bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, tissues, etc... The kitchen has a toaster, blender, and coffee pot. The kitchen also has plenty of cooking and baking items including pots, pans, cooking utensils, glasses, dishes, bowls, plates, silverware, cutting boards, knives, baking sheets, and everything else you might need in the kitchen!

There is a full size front loading washer and dryer in the laundry room. The home is stocked with detergent, laundry basket, cleaning supplies, ironing board, iron, and more.

The living room has a 40' flat screen TV, blu-ray player, wireless internet, as well as books, games, and dvds!

We stayed here as part of our search for where to buy a home in Austin. We really love the area and this is one of our top contenders! It's a residential area but close to downtown, so the houses are older but this one has been redone beautifully. I love that you see everyone taking walks in the morning and evening!

We hoped on the light rail to grab dinner next to the convention center. Super easy and tons of fun!

The house itself is gorgeous. The owners were finishing up some landscaping work when we arrived (beautiful plants by the way!) and they shared with us the very interesting history about the house. To make a long story short, it's a 80 year old home they saved from demolition and renovated from top to bottom. It looks like a brand new home, but there are little touches here and there that show the original charm that you just don't see in houses these days.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
