Our 1,834 square foot townhome in Rum Point has been designed to treat you to a comfortable and memorable visit. Upon entering our townhome, you will be enveloped by superior accommodations. The townhome was renovated from top to bottom during the summer of 2012. It has been furnished with contemporary furniture and accessories to reflect the chic Caribbean style of Grand Cayman. You will also enjoy 2-car front door parking, free WIFI, a stereo system, premium cable and DVD players on 4 HD televisions sets (including both bedrooms with 30+ DVD's), a Wii game system with 20+ games and the use of 2 double, 2 single kayaks, 4 bicycles (3 adult and 1 child).
“Cloud Nine” is a two story townhome with living space on the first floor and sleeping quarters with en-suite bathrooms on the second floor. The downstairs boasts an open concept living space which includes the living and dining areas, a fully stocked kitchen and game room. There is a conveniently located two piece powder room on the first floor. The laundry room/pantry is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen. Our well equipped kitchen provides a great space for cooking and entertainment as it faces the open concept living area. The dining area is located in the center of the open space next to the kitchen. The living area offers plenty of seating with a full length sofa and love seat, a 39 inch HDTV with premium HD cable box, DVD player, movies, stereo with ipod/CD player and radio, soft lighting and accent wall with original art work. The game room offers a love seat/sofa bed, board games, movies, 32 inch HDTV with premium HD cable box, DVD player and a Wii system with games.
The spacious lanai is right outside the foldable sliding glass doors adjoining the interior and exterior living spaces. You will find a vibrant outdoor dining and living area within the screened-in lanai surrounded by nature. The lanai faces the pool, dock and bioluminescent bay. The lanai provides an excellent spot to relax in the conversational lounge area, breathe in the fresh air, feel the cool breeze and watch the Caymanian parrots and other tropical birds fly by. Guests who wish to spend more time in the outdoors can enjoy their coffee and meals at the dining table in the lanai. Just a few steps out the back door, you will have access to the pool and our outdoor grill.
There are two bedrooms, each with its own separate en-suite bathroom on the second floor. You will find the bedroom amenities superior to other accommodations. The master bedroom boasts a king sized bed and the second bedroom a queen sized bed and matching twin bed. Each bedroom has room darkening draperies, HDTV with premium HD cable box, DVD player, alarm clock/radio with several soothing sound options such as flowing water, waves, forest sounds, birds chirping and more, modern solid wood furniture, calming color palettes and ocean themed paintings and prints, comfortable new bedding, new lighting system and lamps, remote control adjustable speed fan and separately zoned A/C temperature settings in each bedroom. The bathrooms have new shower and faucet fixtures, high efficiency toilets, and are finely decorated and well appointed. Each bedroom has its own exterior balcony within the screened-in lanai. The balconies face the pool, dock and bay from the perched second floor. Each balcony offers a private sitting area for you to relax.
You will have access to two double and two single kayaks to tour the calm bay at your own pace. You will enjoy a fabulous nocturnal spectacle only seen in 11 other bioluminescent bays around the world. When the lights go down, the micro-organisms in the bioluminescent bay put on a fabulous show as visitors tour the bay. As you paddle through the water, the micro-organisms illuminate leaving a shiny silvery streak of water. Your paddle will take the form of a lightsaber as you slice through the night waters. The dock is open for fishing any time of day or night in the calm bay waters.
A few steps out your front door will find you at the renowned Rum Point Beach, the most picturesque beach in Grand Cayman. The shallow and clear waters and pink/white sand of Rum Point Beach make it ideal for swimming and offers some of the finest snorkeling in the Caribbean. Rum Point is located in a protected marine park, so grab your snorkeling gear and take in the vibrant views and abundant sea life along the reef just offshore. Adults and children alike will enjoy relaxing and playing in the clear, turquoise, shallow waters. Also at Rum Point, you will find the Red Sail Sports activity center, where you can book Sting Ray City trips as well as other excursions. A host of beach toys are available for rent, including jet skis, catamaran sailboat, banana boat, snorkeling gear and more. The Wreck Bar and Rum Point Restaurant provide some of the best food and drinks on the island including the famous Mudslide, Cuban sandwich, jerk pork plate, local dishes and fine dining in the evenings. Rum Point Beach offers changing rooms, showers, hammocks, a volleyball net, picnic tables and plenty of shade under a canopy of magnificent Casuarina trees and coconut palms.
