The beauty of our 500 sf Lanai, where you can see Mauna Kea beyond the golf course, lava fields, and swaying palms, is why we chose this Kulalani townhom. And we looked at many, for years. Because it is one of only a few units tucked further towards the golf course, and beautifully landscaped, there is a kind of privacy that only this home enjoys. You will enjoy the morning sunrise and cool afternoon shade while enjoying the beautiful landscape.
The living and dining furnishings are brand new. Master bedroom is king size, Mattresses are top of the line Beautyrest Black. Hawaiiana style decor and local art are designer touches. Each bedroom is special.
As scenic and removed from the hustle and bustle as we are, we've still equipped this home with more modern conveniences than you will find in rental homes. WIFI DSL Internet, HDTV with Premium Channels like HBO and Showtime and ON-Demand with DVR included at no extra cost. Most rentals still have analog cable with standard definition TV. Local Phone with free unlimited calling to US and CANADA.

Wow! Even after staying here a month we didn't want to leave. We looked at many VRBO rentals and chose this unit in Kulalani. We were very pleased with Bob and Lisa's condo and the complex location. Everything was better than pictured. A lot of thought has gone into the lay out, furnishings, supplies, beach chairs, etc. The beds and linens were great. The view from the lanai is incredible. To see the observatories and snow on the summit of Mauna Kea is amazing. The pool complex is so beautiful and peaceful and a great place to experience the Milky Way at night! We used the grill quite a bit and were very pleased with the supplies of spices, utensils, condiments,etc. Larry and the owners were very responsive to everything and provided great feedback on places to eat and things to do. We would love to stay here again.
Toni and I had a wonderful experience during our stay in this beautiful home. It was clean and very comfortable. Also it was close to a lot of amenities, including swimming pools and a gym, as well it has access to a private beach. It is a short drive to a commercial area as well, shops and restaurants galore..Actually we can't wait to do it again, very easy to relax and have fun in the sun. I would recommend it to any one, especially if others are traveling with you, there is plenty of room, including 3 large bedrooms. ALOHA
This was the perfect home base for our island adventures. Located in the Kohala resort area turned out to be great. Normally, we have stayed more in the Kona area, but Kohala turned out to be just a little more calm, little traffic, while still getting us to all the great beaches we love to hit up.
This property was very relaxing, and had great amenities on site and in the condominium. The condo itself was expansive, but cozy in just the right way to maybe watch a movie after a long day out, or watch the sunrise over Mauna Kea on the lanai with a coffee. Kitchen was well appointed and large to put together a great meal, with all the fresh food and fish brought from market. Good rooms, and master is especially large, and inviting.
Writing this makes we want to head back here as soon as possible!
We stayed in this lovely home for the last week of our first trip to the big island. This unit exceeded all our expectations! The home is very well equipped with top of the line everything! It was so nice to return to a home at the end of a long day of sight-seeing versus returning to a hotel room. The lanai was perfect for grilling our fresh fish and veggies that we bought at the Foodland Market (at reasonable prices!). We made great use of the games that were provided and enjoyed our family time at the end of each day. The owners beach club is wonderful! We feel it provided some of the best snorkeling we have ever experienced! We were always able to get a cabana. If one wasn't available when we got to the beach, one would open up within 30 minutes or so. We used the owner's cooler several times to pack a picnic, and spent several entire afternoons at the beach club. The property manager Larry was very responsive to all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. The unit even has a copy of Big Island Revealed, which we referenced a lot during our stay. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the big island and would highly recommend this rental!
This condo was perfect for our family get-together! The home itself was furnished beautifully and we felt quite spoiled. The spacious kitchen and outdoor BBQ area were ideal for fixing family meals and sharing laughter. The pantry was very well stocked and we left some supplies for the next family. The beach chairs, hats, beach towels and cooler all came in quite handy.
The home felt quite new and was very clean and welcoming. There was a slight odor from the washing machine, maybe it hadn't been used recently (?).
All the community amenities like the gorgeous pools, workout facility and grounds were beautiful.
The owner and manager were both wonderful to work with. We would love to visit again and definitely recommend this property to friends!
This beautifully appointed home was perfect for our family of 5 including three twenty-somethings. The lovely master bedroom and bath on the main floor, with the two other bedrooms upstairs, gave everyone the space they needed. The lanai has privacy and a view of the golf course we all loved. A spirit of generosity and aloha pervades this place--snorkeling gear, beach chairs, etc in the garage, and cupboards brimming with spices, condiments and terrific cookware in a kitchen that invites group cooking, all there for guests to use. Having the great gourmet grocery just up the road proved to be a real boon. The "owner's beach" was our favorite, with terrific snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, calm waters, and a white sand beach with all the amenities. Onsite pools and exercise facility just a block away were beautiful. Great accessibility to beaches, restaurants, historic sites, and even the Saddle Road meant we could explore the entire island. The owners and their property manager on the BI are the nicest, most responsive and honest people you'd ever care to business with. A great value besides. We will be back!
