Regardless of season, this fine Dorset home has something to offer everyone in this stunning mountain location.

Offering 4 bedrooms, and 3-1/2 bathrooms, this meticulously cared for fully furnished home has its en suite master bedroom downstairs equipped with a wonderfully warm gas fireplace, and extra large spa bath. A French door leads to a small private outside patio overlooking a carefully maintained perennial garden, and the Mettowee River. Deer, wild turkeys, and grouse may be viewed from this bedroom. The home contains a mixture of English and Chinese furniture, reflecting the British background of the owner, and the many years he and his wife spent in Hong Kong.

The kitchen cum family room is fully equipped with a family dining and seating area overlooking an extensive stone patio with gorgeous views. Sunsets stream through the property from across a 20 acre field just opposite. Wireless internet, cable TV, including three TV sets, are all provided.

The formal living room is complete with a colonial wood fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. The separate dining area with its Vermont marble floor seats eight comfortably.

Upstairs are three bedrooms with a queen size bed, twin single beds, and a double bed, respectively, served by two adjacent bathrooms, one with a walk in shower, the other with a bath with overhead shower.

The home is complete with a first floor laundry room equipped with large capacity front loading washing machine and dryer.

In this peaceful, tranquil location you can leave your worries behind and RELAX.

Picturesque Country Bliss!!

We stayed at this beautiful home through the Fourth of July weekend and enjoyed all the best that southern Vermont has to offer. Great location, set amongst the mountains with the soothing sounds of the river below. The home offers tons of space, all decorated with gorgeous antiques, and meticulously maintained. Peaceful side patio and view of serene sunsets. Minutes away from quaint downtown country store and within 20 minute ride of all that Manchester has to offer. Convenient to ski resorts which offer year round attractions. Would recommend this for winter or summer getaway for families or romantic retreat.

This impeccably designed and beautifully appointed property offers the best of Vermont with a meticulously and pristinely manicured lawn. It is totally equipped and made our vacation complete and relaxing with many antique furnishings to enjoy. The gorgeous views and the tranquil sounds of the Mettawee River made this home my own personal sanctuary. It is aslo an ideal spot for long walks, bike rides, fishing and is in close proximity to Manchester town which is convenient for shopping, dining and skiing.

I found my perfect place to vacation and look forward to visiting each year.
