ZEN COTTAGE IN SANTA MONICA

One must experience this piece of heaven located in the heart of Santa Monica! My family and I were able to spend time in California without giving up one ounce of comfort from our home in Weston, Florida. The spacious living areas, upscale appliances and tranquil sounds of the running water fall by the koi pond made our time a memory that will instill into our BEST VACATION category. My family and I are fortunate enough to travel across the country and abroad; Jacqui and Howard's beautiful rental has been the best we've experienced. I am not kidding when I equally compare this rental with Fairmont's Miramar Hotel and Bungalow.......

The fully equipped kitchen allowed me to make home made dinners, lunches and breakfasts. The property was close to the best markets, like Trader Joes and the Co-Op as well as their local chains. Not only did I easily find the food markets, but the major attractions were literally ten minutes away! (with traffic- 11 minutes!) We were able to go to the Pier, 3rd Street Promenade and Venice Beach all in one day! You can also ask Jacqui and Howard about the best kept secret the locals love to go to: restaurants, places to hike, and nearby cities to visit. They had all of the inside information regarding the relentless I-10, which was under construction at the time of our visit. Jacqui told me what times and days exits were opening/closing, which saved me a lot of valuable time I could be using to sight see.

The cleanliness of the floors, bathrooms, kitchens and linens made me feel as if I were in my own home which is the first thing I look for in a place for my family and I to stay at. This factor, in addition to the high tech of all appliances, location and exceptional taste in decor will be the reason that I will continue to book when I am visiting the West Coast.

This home is just as beautiful and charming as the pictures! The entire place has been completely renovated with high end furnishings and fixtures. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and how well the property is maintained. It has centralized airconditioning but didn't need it during my stay. The huge windows looking out to trees, plants and the pond kept the room cool throughout the day and night, The home is located on a quiet street with easy access to good restaurants and grocery stores. I travelled alone but hightly recommend it even for family.

This place is great for creative professionals like myself. I stayed here on business and I must say I was really impressed. I mostly worked in the spacious living area where the sound of the fountain/pond created such a serene environment. Other times I would bring my laptop to the outdoor patio area and work under the umbrella shade. The Wi-Fi was faster then what I can get at home AND it was free and available throughout the house and patio.

The other thing I really loved was the kitchen. What fun it was cooking dinner in such a beautiful open concept kitchen. The appliances are top notch and the cupboards were stocked with everything you could need to feed a family.

Even though i was here on business I left feeling relaxed, productive, and looking forward to my next stay.
