What makes my home different from others?
1) LOCATION - there is not another home more conveniently located to SOCO than mine. The home is 1 block to Congress to so many restaurants and shopping. No need to worry about cabs and other hassles when you will be in the middle of the most popular part of town.
2) FREE PARKING AT FRONT DOOR - no need to park a half mile away or pay for parking when you can park at my front door. other homes do not have this amenity.
3) SERVICE - I meet each group at the home to make sure you get settled in and answer any questions. I also provide each group a map of an aerial view of the home in relation to the many restaurants to walk to as well as provide a written list of those restaurants and what makes them popular so the group can know what restaurants they want to try.
4) AMENITIES - 55 & 32 inch HDTV's, high speed internet, comfortable beds, spacious living room, kitchen, and outside covered deck with seating for 8, and an iHome to listen to your favorite music.
5) PRIVACY - fenced in front and back yards so you won't be bothered.
6) CLEANLINESS - the home will very clean when you arrive with towels and soap on the beds.
This 1500 sq/ft home with hardwood floors is TRULY in the HEART of the South Congress District. Other ads state they are in the heart of SOCO yet are far away. This home IS in the heart of the most popular area of Austin. Located 1 block off South Congress every possible attraction of SOCO is literally less than a 3 minute walk. With so many stores for shopping, restaurants, and music venues within walking distance, there is no shortage of things to do. Go kayaking or jog at Town Lake or hang out Downtown. Both are only 1 mile away..... If you want to stay in, watch TV on a 55-inch HDTV with lots of movies on DVR, HBO, Showtime, and Starz and enjoy coffee with my Keurig coffee maker.
FREE PARKING - No car is needed because everything is within a short walk and the bus stop is also only 2 blocks away to go downtown. However, if you do have a car, 3 FREE PARKING PASSES are offered with your stay. Park right outside your front door and tour Austin without having the hassle of paying for parking. There are very few blocks with residential parking, but this street has it and it is ULTRA convenient. There is NO home more in the center of SOCO than this home!!! You will not be disappointed in this location.

No other home is closer to the action than this home. Not only can the location not be beat, but the home has plenty of room to move around in with very spacious living room, kitchen, and deck for just hanging out. The FREE PARKING is a huge benefit in this very popular area of town where parking is at a premium.
This property offers the ability to have so many restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues at your doorstep. If you decide to go downtown, it is only 1 mile away and the bus stop is 2 blocks from this location. If you want to spend some time at Town Lake, it is also only 1 mile away or a very short run or bike away.
This property is 100% true to pictures and reviews. There were 8 of us for my birthday weekend and it's literally a block off of South Congress which was perfect for walking to the restaurants and bars there. A short uber took us downtown. Chad was a great host and the property easily accommodated all of us. It is important to keep it down past a reasonable time, as the neighbors have a newborn, but it wasn't an issue. Would definitely stay here again.
This home is exactly as advertised. The location is perfect and just steps from many restaurants and shopping along South Congress. There is so much to walk to you don't need a car. You cannot get any closer to all the things South Congress than this home. The owner is also incredibly accomodating and helpful by providing aerial maps of South Congress and downtown and providing a list of restaurants to walk to. All information I would not have had otherwise. The home is also very clean and spacious. A wonderful home and one you should choose right away before someone else does!
Beautiful, welcoming home in exactly the right location to take advantage of all of the South Congress area's fun and funky charms. Austin's weather was surprisingly cold during our visit, but Chad's house was warm and inviting and so nice to come home to after an evening checking out the music this town is known for. It was immaculate, picture perfect, and I was sad that it was too cold to hang out on the dinner-party-perfect back porch. Chad himself is a combination southern gentleman and concierge, providing suggestions on the best of Austin's must-sees, complete with maps and insider tips. Be sure to go to Hopdoddy, take the Rocket Electric's Foodie Tour, maybe a music club crawl...,I'd stay here again in a heartbeat (and I might need to, because there is way more going on in SoCo than I could get to in a long weekend)! Great time, gracious host, rockin' town, what more could you ask for?!!
Chad was great to work with and provided lots of info and maps of the area. Location was fantastic - walkable (1 block off s. Congress) to lots of restaurants, bars, shops and an easy drive to other sights around town. The house was clean and the yard was fully fenced which was great because we had small kids. The house was nicely furnished and well-stocked. AC worked great and the house was a comfortable temp. Fantastic outdoor deck with dining table and outdoor fan. The yard was kept neat. We would absolutely return.
Chad's home was the perfect location for my group's ACL weekend. Walking distance to all the awesome happenings on South Congress, bicycle riding distance to Zilker or downtown. The home was comfortable, clean, and charming. Five or Six people would feel right at home. Chad was well organized and extremely easy to work with. This will now be my first choice for future Austin adventures.
Our group stayed at this home for a few days and absolutely loved it! It is 1 block to so much shopping and many restaurants. It literally takes less than a minute to walk to lots to do. The location cannot be beat.... The home is very cute and spacious. Very comfortable seating for a group in the living room, kitchen, or outside deck that has party lights around it..... The owner provided us a wealth of information on the area including an aerial view of the home in relation to everything to do in SOCO, a list of restaurants, and an aerial view of the home to restaurants and landmarks downtown...... Just an all around great home in a fantastic location with great service from owner. He did a great job of making the stay as good as possible for us. Highly recommend!
