The charming, fully appointed, 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage features the work of local artists and accommodates up to 6 adults. Outdoor features include swimming pool, lighted tennis court, walking/mountain biking trails, wildlife viewing/photography, birdwatching.
This is a non-smoking property. It is not suitable for children. Pets are not allowed, however, there are several pet boarding facilities close by.
The owners live on the property and are actively involved in habitat management for native wildlife.
The cottage is minutes from the famous Salt Lick BBQ, Trattoria Lisina Italian restaurant and multiple wineries.
Also, a wide variety of activities are available close by in Austin, the live music capital of the world. Or enjoy shopping in Wimberley, Fredricksburg and the San Marcos Outlet Mall.
Heart Rock Cottage is owned and managed by Ann and Don Connell. We have lived on this property for over 30 years, raised our family here, and have a deep spiritual connection and commitment to the land we share with our wildlife neighbors.
Located in Driftwood, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, just minutes from the famous Salt Lick BBQ and Trattoria Lisina Italian restaurants. Tour and tastings are close by at award winning wineries, olive oil farms, Real Ale Brewery and Cypress Creek Rum Distillery. A wide variety of outdoor, live music and shopping opportunities are available in Austin, Wimberley and Fredricksburg.
