Best location in Panama city. Close to so many great ammenities,
Great views of the Bay and Panama's skyline from every room. Within walking distance of a large mall and lots of restaurants. The roof top pool always had sufficient lounge chairs for everyone and the area has two barbeques for resident use. The gym is well equipped and available for all tenants. A two or three dollar cab ride will get you to most locations downtown. The islands on the causeway will be about $15:00. Mararita, the land lady was very helpful in answering all our questions and was quick to bring a new toaster when we noted the absence of one. When we experienced a 24 hour power outage she was as concerned as we were if not more so. To repay us for the inconvenience she and her daughter took us out for Sunday brunch at a beautiful resort. Our only complaint, coming from a small town, was the traffic noise coming from busy Avenida Balboa, and some of the furniture is in need of updating. Overall we enjoyed our four week stay.
As experienced travelers, we cannot say enough positive things about our stay in this Bayfront condo with its panoramic view of the bay, old city, and Panama City modern skyline.
Location: spectacular views form this corner, window clad condo (even from the bedroom), walking distance to most anything that you may need (many grocery stores nearby too), & quick access to the business district, canal, old city and other tourist attractions.
The Condo: 24hr security, large space, tile and wood floors, nice balcony, spotlessly clean with all the amenities found in a modern state-side apt. Worth mentioning is there is no deposit required, and the cleaning fee is already included in the quoted rate. What’s also nice is that for late arrivals, the condo keys will be waiting for you at the reception.
The owner: Margarita is an absolute sweetheart and was very accommodating. She speaks perfect English & her reliable driver (Carlos) can bring you back and forth from the airport if so desired (for a competitive fee).
Overall: for 3 days or more, it makes little sense to get a hotel given the price, ease of rental and check-in, the large space, conveniences of home, spectacular views, location, amenities, and close proximity to shopping of any kind.
Cons: I truly cannot think of any to mention other than the minor noise from the road below, though that said from the 19th floor it was not an issue for us whatsoever.
My husband & I decided to take a trip to Panama and found this lovely condo for rent. We contacted Margarita for details - she answered all of our questions. Any time we had a questions or inquiry she immediately answered all of our questions. When we arrived at the condo we were awestruck by the beauty of the view. The picture on this site is exactly what you will see when you enter the living room. This condo is a beautiful one bedroom (large) with and bath and 1/2. There is a balcony to sit on and watch the traffic go by. The condo is fully furnished with stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer, dryer, ironing board, plates, etc. The condo itself is very quiet - you don't hear noise from the neighbors or even inside the condo - however, if traffic noise is a problem, then you won't be happy here. It was no problem for us but for some people the noise from the street may be a problem. The pool is on the 28th floor and the view from the rooftop is stunning. We would go up in the evening and have a bottle of wine, some cheese & crackers and just watch the clouds go by. During the day we'd swim and sunbathe in the comfortable chairs. The condo is conveniently located on Balboa Avenue - one of the busiest streets in Panama - but, across the street is a walking/biking path which we walked on every day. There are plenty of restaurants around and a grocery store is available about 8 blocks away. There is a wine shop not too far away - Hard Rock hotel is approximately 5 blocks - right next to (actually attached to) the Multicenter Shopping Plaza. There are plenty of places to walk to each day or to take a taxi to. This condo is a top-notch place to stay and we would definitely contact Margarita again if we are thinking about another visit to Panama.
My wife and I had the pleasure to stay here for a week in July (2014). We both had unique needs based on jobs and hobbies. Margarita and her driver Carlos did such an amazing job and were so helpful in all respects. The apartment is in 100% working order, clean, and beautiful.
I had the pleasure of staying this property in 5/12. The apartment is well equipped and furnished with very tasteful furniture.
It's close to everthing would ever need. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.
After several stays in Panama City Balboa Avenue, this is is by far our favorite place .
This unit is a gem for its corner location, offering an absolutely unique and fantastic view from Punta Paitilla to as far as Casco Viejo. The Unit is very clean, spacious and well kept .
The bedroom has a queen bed and this was our hesitation, being used to king beds but this bed and pillows are indeed comfortable, the linen really fresh and immaculate. The bedroom is large, airy and bright. It offers two convenient working desks and a desk chair. The good blackout curtains added up to the sleeping comfort of this room. The sofa bed in the bedroom accommodates one extra person.
The walk in closed has ample space for hanging, sufficient drawers, shelves and a safe.
The main bathroom with its great view over the bay was a very pleasant surprise: the full glass wall with a sliding windows is a delight while the blinds provided offered total privacy when needed. What a great plus for a bathroom! Nice toiletries are provided to guests as well.
The living / dining areas enjoy great views : they are spacious, comfortable and bright . The kitchen has all the needed equipment but limited cabinet space for groceries.
The Bayfront Tower building is in a perfect location, very well maintained, with a great panoramic pool and a well appointed social area .
You can easily access Bayfront Tower by taxi or own vehicle and drive in – out or through it comfortably.
A definite plus in the city.
The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful at all times. The Lobby area is nicely decorated with fine artwork and furniture.
The Elevators lobby at the apartment floors is terrace style with spectacular views,: open, spacious, airy and bright.
Last but absolutely not least: the Owner is a very kind, accommodating and welcoming host, always there for you and ready to assist at any time.
We could not ask for more.
