Location of our vacation home: Our house is located just a short walk from Towamensing’s Lake, private Beach, and Lake view Swimming Pool - which is adjacent to Towamensing Trails’ Restaurant/Club House/Bar, and Arcade/ snack bar. Eight amenity passes are included in your rental cost. There is a secluded lake in Hickory Run State Park; it has a free extensive beach for swimming a there are several streams for fishing enthusiasts. Hickory Run is just 8-minutes from the Trails. Be Sure To Check Our Home Visitors Guide Located In The Foyer When You Arrive.

Beltzville Lake is about 20 minutes away (back near the turnpike). The lake offers swimming,boating, fishing and for a nice picnic. Everyone is impressed by this large beautiful lake.

The house description, pictures and detail are completely accurate. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the hot tub is well maintained and was enjoyed each night of our stay. Its a great house and the owner is extremely responsible, responsive and helpful. The neighborhood is excellent, is in a central location, and the community has a security guard that makes rounds to ensure the properties are safe. I would recommend this property to others and hope to return again soon.

This review is for the weekend of 03/01/13 through 03/03/13. Upon arrival, we were all very impressed with the layout of the house and all of the offerings. Everything was for the most part as exactly as described. Hot tub, TV, spacious bedrooms, kitchen accessories and cookware were all there and readily available for use. A few issues:

-We could not get any of the surround sound systems to work.

-Internet was slow and sometimes cut out completely. Not sure if it's because of the fact that it's via satellite. In any case, perhaps better internet service would have been nice considering we were connecting via iPad / iPhone / Xbox 360.

-The grill only had 1 of 4 burners working. This was probably a bigger inconvenience than we would have liked as we had to buy a small, cheap grill to cook our steaks for Saturday night's dinner.

Other than that, the house was excellent and I think we'd definitely come back again if the occassion called for it. Raj was very responsive when we needed him. Garbage disposal is actually about 2 miles down the road from the house and not 1, so don't freak out if you think you've passed it.

Great House for a realxing stay!

This house was everything that we were looking for! There was 6 of us and the beds were so comfortable and the house was so clean. We just went up to relax, and we used the fire place, cooked breakfast lunch and dinner, sat in the hot tub and the jaquzzi in the master bedroom, played wii and watched movies in the living room and played pool and hun out in the basement. There are so many oplaces within 15 minutes driving distance from the house too. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking to get away with a few couples or just a few friends like we did!

The location was perfect; near to ski resorts, quiet neighborhood, wooded with many deer to be seen and close to stores and taverns.
The description was accurate, the home was clean when we arrived and the owners are easy to contact if needed.
The rate compared to other homes is a bargain.
Looking forward to coming again next year.

Stayed here with friends for 2 nights and 3 days. The house is beautiful that is kept clean and tidy. The listing is very accurate with the location and amenities. We had to contact the owners regarding a broken chair and they were very helpful and quick with their reply. I would defiantly recommend this property to my friends and family. If your looking for a beautiful cabin not to far from all the local attractions then you have just found it.
