Wow! We are seasoned vacation home renters, but this home surpassed our expectations! The photos of the home caught our attention, but, as good as they were, they didn't begin to convey the beauty of the home. It was my job to find a rental that would satisfy my husband. I'm an architect, so I'm usually confident that I can accomplish that task, but it's very satisfying when I pick a home that exceeds all expectations. Every aspect of the home was wonderful. However, there were things that we didn't expect to find. We didn't expect to go to sleep to the sound of a babbling brook. We didn't expect to share our mornings with the deer in the yard. We didn't expect to sit on the porch and watch a beaver swimming in the pond. We didn't expect to find a secluded, country setting just 8 minutes from town. We didn't expect to get to know the delightful owners of this beautiful home. Do we recommend this home....yes, yes, yes!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a beautiful experience at the Sourdough Canyon Lodge.
