The Setting, The Cottage, The Hospitality

Superior to the rest, you can't compare the private location of this St. Helena, forty-acre vineyard estate. Once we were there, we didn't want to leave even though, it's just a short, five mile drive to town and all the local wineries from Napa to Calistoga.
Elevated as high as the mountains and above all the clouds, each morning we shared the sunrise along with the blue birds. By nightfall, we experienced the one hundred eighty degree view of a sunset even more gorgeous than the last. As if we were in a dream, we looked on from the front row, viewing a three hundred sixty degree show of the stars taking shape in the form of the Big Dipper underneath the Milky Way. Such a romantic setting!
Color-filled by all of nature, the many Christmas like trees and warm surrounding vines, there is no place more peaceful or tranquil to the mind, body and spirit.
We decided to take advantage of the vegetable garden and picked some herbs & tomatoes for a very organic lunch. For dinner, we barbequed on our own private deck and then took a dip in the pool (what originally sold us!) while chilling our champagne on ice. Freshly made ice was plentiful from the handy poolside ice machine.
The cottage was equipped with a coffee maker, tea-pot, cook top, microwave, kitchen utensils/dishes & supplies, a small refrigerator, so you can come prepared or stock up on some goodies in town and cook or store them for your next meal. Morning and night, we took it all in while enjoying our cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate by the warmth of the pipe stove, fireplace.
By the artwork, knick-knacks and antique furniture pieces, we surely felt cozy. Plenty of clean linens, towels and blankets were provided that we felt as though we were in the comfort of our own home. A small TV was there in the cottage but, we didn't have any use for that since, the cottage has all around windows and french doors which afforded us the opportunity to be united with nature.
Upon arrival to our awaiting cottage, we found some delightful surprises; a nice touch, fresh flowers on the dining table, and two bottles of the best red & white wines in Wine Country. Who could bestow better hospitality to you than that!
Once you've been there, you’ll want to return, again and again, for all of life’s small & large celebrations.
