Two Bedroom, 1 Bath, Full Kitchen, Sleeps Six

Our charming Key West style 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has almost 700 square feet and will be refurbished in October 2012. Our cottage offers beautiful oak hardwood floors, a tiled kitchen and bath, a queen sleeper sofa, a love seat, a comfortable side chair, coffee and end tables in the living room, and seating for four in the dining area. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds which can be converted to a king upon request. Gulf Sounds is lushly landscaped and offers a covered patio and charcoal barbeque grill, a second floor sundeck, outside shower, and a fully fenced property that provides exceptional privacy.
About Staci

Staci has been vacationing on Treasure Island since 1998. I loved the island the minute I stepped foot on the beach! When Staci and Wes began dating in 2004, Staci brought Wes to the island and they fell in love during Hurricane Frances.

Why Staci chose Treasure Island

Our favorite vacation spot on TI was a little beach cottage just one block north of our current cottage. In 2007, it sold to a private owner and was no longer rented.

What makes this cottage unique

In our cottage, we try to provide you with the many items we ourselves would want to be included in a vacation rental. In our home, you will find, beautiful furnishings, bedding and linens including beach towels and blankets. All bedding, linens towels and blankets are professional santized and fresh upon your arrival. We kindly request that you leave these items upon your departure.

Gulf Sounds, the 'TREASURE' of Treasure Island beach cottages, is an easy, safe 30 yard stroll to the beach boardwalk and the pristine beaches of Treasure Island. Our bungalow/cottage is located in a small, intimate resort and is very private yet in the middle of all the activities of Treasure Island and Madeira Beach. You can access the beach in less than a minute and easily walk to World Famous John's Pass with its numerous fresh seafood restaurants, unique shops, ice cream parlors, chartered fishing boats,and waterfront bars. The Beach trolley stops at our corner, so you can visit all the beaches for one low fare per day. A public boat ramp is across the street. One small dog may be allowed with owners prior approval and the payment of a pet fee.

Wonderfully clean and updated. Beautiful furnishings and decor. Every need was anticipated and fulfulled. Great cottage overall. Would definitely consider staying there again. The only thing missing was a water view, but for the price it was a great value. Thank you Staci!

This cottage has every amenity you could possibly want. It is in the perfect location which is both close to the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It is extremely clean and we felt extremely safe in the area around it. Staci & Wes have gone above & beyond to make sure that once you arrive to the cottage, all you need to do is relax because everything is provided. My husband & I went for 5 days by ourselves but it is also very kid friendly. We had such a great trip & would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic little cottage located so convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The flat screen tv's in the living room and each bedroom are an absolute plus. The decor and furnishings are very nice and really make you feel you are in the tropics. We will be back next year!

Great cottage for a great price

We were impressed as soon as we walked thru the door! Everything you expect in a cottage but with all the nicer amenities. Flat screen TVs, free wifi, and a nicely updated kitchen with new appliances. Its only a half block walk to the beach access where we spent most of our time. There is a fishing pier a little north of where we stayed and we were able to rent some paddle boards that were delivered right to our cottage. The rooms where very clean and sheets appeared to be new or almost new.

The only cons is their high tech thermostat. Took us a while to figure out how to adjust the temperature. Some space age thermostat (Nest?) that was created by the iPod inventor.

We enjoyed our vacation and we plan on staying there again for our next summer Florida trip.

A great vacation cottage!

This cottage is fabulous!
We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in the door
and saw how clean and comfortable it was. The cottage is
beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a
relaxing holiday. We stayed here around Christmas, and there
was even a small Christmas tree on the dining table. The area
is fenced in, so we didn't have to worry about our little dog
running into the street. The beach is just a short walk away.
We would highly recommend this rental, but at the same time
want to keep it our little secret!
We'll definitely stay here again.
