Experience the tranquility of Black Butte Ranch in Central Oregon with the majestic view of the Cascade Mountains, two 18 hole championship golf courses (the newly remodeled Glaze Meadow Course is receiving rave reviews), five swimming pools, tennis courts and 16 miles of paved bike paths. Enjoy the nature from a bike, horseback or paddling a canoe in the lake.
Our home, located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a Ponderosa forest as the back yard has been newly furnished with a comfortable and elegant style. New in 2012 were all new stainless steel appliances and granite slab countertops in the kitchen. Only a short walk to the Glaze Meadow complex with indoor, outdoor and toddler pools, exercise and spa facilities, tennis courts and bicycle rental center. The Rec Center (located near the entrance of the resort) has kid’s activities, an arcade and babysitting.
With the quiet street in front, the forest in the back and a large bonus room for the kids our house is the perfect place for a family (or even two) to enjoy all that Black Butte has to offer.
Stay connected with the Wifi and cable on two large screen TV's or turn everything off and go for a hike. Sit by the fire with your favorite book while the kids explore out back or ride on the miles of bike paths. We have tried to set up our house so that you can decide what makes the perfect vacation.

We stayed here with four adults and three children and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you could need including comfy beds, a well-appointed kitchen, a nice BBQ and lots of bikes! The property backs up to undeveloped land which was a blast for the kids, they did a lot of exploring but we could still see what they were up to. There is so much to do at BBR I feel like we could have used another week!
this house was perfect for our family needs. Beautiful decor, very comfortable and loved the wood burning fire place. The extra TV/Game room was perfect for our teenagers. We would definitely rent this home again.
Beautiful BBR home backing up to BLM land. The house is very clean and well taken care of. Great bonus room with ping pong table. The kitchen has everything you need. It was great for our two families. We will definitely go again!
We picked the snowiest weekend of the winter to visit this beautiful Black Butte home. It was more relaxing than we imagined watching feet of snow fall in a short time and enjoying a nice warm fire. The house was very clean. The furnishings were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Pictures on the website are accurate. Will definitely be coming back for another stay! Owners are very easy to work with.
Our family of 6 (grandparents, us, and two kids, ages 3 and 6) recently stayed at this house and could not have asked for a better spot. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and other reviews regarding roominess and style of the house are spot-on. The kids really enjoyed the ping-pong table, and we were happy to have the TV in the bonus room to let the kids watch movies while the adults could watch football downstairs. Proximity to the Meadows Rec Center was handy. But the very best aspect of the house was the back yard - the forest!! The kids and adults alike enjoyed the ability to go explore and hike right outside the back door. Wonderful visit!
Our group included kids, parent and grandparents, and everyone LOVED the house. The ping pong and acres of forest out back were a plus that many houses in black Butte don't have. Of course, we enjoyed the usual: walks, bike rides, swimming and dinner on the deck. But maybe the best thing was the layout of the house. You could get away, but not be far from the action. And the bikes were a nice extra (though we always bring ours). Just a wonderful location and gracious accommodation. I hope to come back next year!
