Mullett Lake is a big clean clear sandy bottom lake and on a calm day you can see the ripples in the sand in 15 feet of water. Our beach has no rocks, weeds or blood suckers and the water is shallow and safe for children to play.
Since 1998 after we remodeled and modernized the cabins the majority of our guests have come back year after year. Many families rent 2 cabins and 3 different families have rented all 3 cabins one week every summer for over 10 years so their children could spend time together with their cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and be able to share some "wonderful summer memories."

I spent my summers on Mullett Lake as a child. I have wonderful memories of those times. I always wanted to return and in 1995 I found this spot, only a mile from where we used to stay. Now we have families return year after year to bond and build life long memories together. We have watched their children grow from todlers to teenagers. This is such a magical place for adults and children alike.
laura purchased this cabin in 1995
My grandparents lived on this lake. I spent all my summers here. I know all the lakes, rivers and nearby places. I have explored all of northern Michigan for 50 years. I found this is the best place for adults and families to enjoy and we enjoy sharing the experience with others. Our summer home is right next door. I will spend the rest of my life here because I truely believe it is the best spot in all of northern Michigan if not the world.
Looking to have a family reunion or have friends who want to join you... we have 3 cabins available which can sleep a total of 18 people.
My husband and I really liked this cabin and the property involved. The beach was great, fires every night. The weather was great when we were there. Only one problem we had was the bed wasn't long enough for my very tall husband and not comfortable enough for myself. I'm pretty fussy when it comes to beds. I'm like the princess and the pea, I feel every lump and bump. Double beds are not good for tall people. It's close to great restaurants, lots of relaxing to do, very quiet and serene. The owners were very nice too
