Family of 3 adults and 3 children ranging from 15 - 2 years.
2 taxis from the Airport 50 euros each. biggest taxi Vauxhall Zafira.
On arrival we were met by Pablo who showed us the apartment and what was what, local information was in Spanish and German though. They have offices next to the chinese, Manolo in his office 6 days a week if you need any thing or just phone.
The Apartment was 3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms perfect and good sized, The lounge was a good size and kitchen was modern and clean and well stock with everything. The washing machine helped not to bring back dirty clothes, dry them on the roof lines theres about 10 of them.
The TV is not in English only 1 channel, if you are German of Spanish you will be OK however you tend not to watch too much TV. We bought our own small DVD player..good move for the kids. also bring your laptops
Location.
We were right on the beach and right next to a mariner great view from the balcony just as advertised. Try to rent the apartments facing the sea front above the chinese resturant, even better sun and veiw from those apartments.
very lively atmosphere but not loud.
Shops and Food
There are two main supermarkets not that big but they have all the right stuff. The Spar was the best walking up the road away from the beach past the jewellers to the pharmacy building (in green) and keep going straight. There are also some good shops in that area to buy your beach stuff from and also better dining in this area, the seafront dining looked OK but we ate in the area where the Spar was located. best jewellers is on the same road as the apartment. There are lots of small bars take your pick.
Bamboo is the drinking hole for us cocktails which were mixed very well, past the Chinese and first or second left.
Information kiosk on the beach front, English speaker from Monday - Friday, he was OK
Palma is a must, shop till you run out of euro
walk to the left of the apartments and you will find many nice spots to sit or swim in the water, some rocky areas here but still very nice, walking past the lighthouse is a small not crowded sandy area.
walk to the left of the apartment following the coast line the beach is sandy all the way and you will probally not leave this area but the further you walk the less people there are. The trips on boats and water scooters should be done.
no mosquitos very hot highly recomended
