IMPRESSIVE DOWNTOWN ATLANTA CONDO 1 BED 1 BATH

We loved the condo and the location. But parking was a problem. Despite the instructions from the concierge, and parking in what we thought was an acceptable spot, our car was towed. The concierge said that the owner was responsible for telling us what was acceptable parking, and the owner's instructions say to ask the concierge. I let Miki, the owner know about this, and she agreed to pay half of the towing charge, then no communication or reimbursement, inspite of several emails from me. So be very careful where you park or you will be towed.

Our family of four stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The condo is excellent. It was comfy, clean and within walking distance of many of Atlanta's sights. The 24 hour concierge was a great bonus and the staff was very friendly. Getting to the parking is a little complicated the first time but once it was explained to us by the staff, it was very simple.

I would heed the previous comment about check in and have your contract, receipt and a photo I.D. when you check in. On checking in, as parking is problematic in Atlanta, the entrance to the included parking is off Baker Street (between Peachtree Street NE-NW--->Baker Street one way---> and Spring Street NW) you can park here to check in as long as you do not park in one of the reserved spaces. There are 15 minute parking spaces by the basement entrance (main lobby was closed on our stay), you get to this by going up Simpson street from Spring street NW and looking for the dead end street (W Peachtree Street NW) on your right. You make a right at the end of this dead end street and the two spaces will be on your right. They have carts available in a room by the basement entrance but you have to ask for them. You can get to Peachtree center by going through Suntrust Bank and the Olympic Park, Coke Center and Aquarium is a short walk down Baker Street. Keep the envelop that contains your keys and parking pass for check out as they require those items to be in an envelop.
