Panoramic Ocean View from 4th floor-Steps to Most Popular Beach in Kihei

The location was perfect! We walked just across the street to the best beach in Kihei to soak up the sun and the snorkeling was great! Both casual and high-end restaurants are within walking distance.
This property was just as described by the owner. It is on the 4th and top floor of the building, the
lanai is huge and we did see whales from the condo! Everything is up-to-date, beds are very comfortable, linens are new, the kitchen has everything you need and the wireless internet was easy to use. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to visit Maui - it's the best!

We are here right now! The condo is as described - the photos very accurate. The condo has everything you would need in the kitchen, and there are beach chairs and toys to borrow. The owner has been very prompt in replying to emails with questions, and I would recommend this property. The wifi works great and was easy to access. Plenty of fluffy towels and extra pillows and blankets. Two twin beds in a separate room were a must for our party, and it was hard to find elsewhere.

Note that the unit is very far from the elevator, so we have just been using the stairs which are close to the unit and exits the building right by a hose for rinsing off from the beach. If an elevator is important to you, you might want to choose a unit closer to the middle of the building.

As for the property itself, I would not recommend the ground floor units, as they look out on the parking lot and probably don't have a very good view. Floors 2-4 should all have a view of the ocean. However if you are handicapped, the ground floor units would be awesome, as they are very VERY close to the parking (you can enter a ground floor unit through the lanai).

The pool is nothing special, and requires a key for entry, so don't forget the key!! It is January and VERY cold. It is, however, very clean. There is a sign that says no pool toys... which I found surprising. (There is also a sign that says no pets on the property, but I saw people with a dog?)

There is a little road noise, and some noise from Kamaole Sands behind the building... but things seem to settle down by 8pm (except on New Year's Eve.... when they settled down after midnight).

Good eats nearby include DaKitchen, 1/2 mile away. Foodland grocery is 1.2 miles away. Sign up for their membership card to get the discounted prices (you can do this as you check out - just give them a phone number). Fat Daddy's BBQ (near Foodland) also has great food.

Kam III< the beach across the street> is lovely. Perfect with children, and good snorkling. No seaweed. Bathrooms and outdoor showers are available there, as well as picnic tables and a few swings, and a big grassy area.

I would recommend this condo - and this building - to my friends and family.

Note that there is only one available parking space for your party.

This is a nice place to stay if you're visiting Maui. The condo is everything described by the owner. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The owners provided all sorts of beach gear and lots of towels. We loved the large lanai and the view of the park/ocean. The location is very convenient...close to restaurants and shops and across from a great beach. It's very useful having a washer/dryer, especially if you're traveling with kids. We also liked that there was a pool and bbq area to use. The ceiling fans and standing fans were nice, but having air conditioning would've been better. The rooms did cool down at night from the open windows. Overall, I'd highly recommend this condo.
