This lovely upstairs one-bedroom mini-suite offers a beach decor with separate bedroom and bath and is located in Villas by the Sea on Jekyll Island’s north end. Our building is not oceanfront, but is the first building back and only a hop and a skip to the beach. The balcony overlooks a small copse of native oaks and bushes - there is even a peek of the ocean.

Jekyll Island is a state park and the island is limited to only 35% development. If you are looking for an over-developed, highly commercialized island, this is not for you. Jekyll is for peaceful walks on the beach, nature viewing, bicycle trails around the entire island, three 18-hole golf courses, one 9-hole course, 13 fast-dry clay tennis courts, Summer Waves Waterpark (seasonal), horseback riding and many other low-key activities and amenities.

Parker-Kaufman Realtors manages our unit and they are located in the Jekyll Shopping Center. All emails, phone calls and reservations are made directly through their office - please see the toll free number below.

During the in-season, we rent on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday. During off-season times, we can be more flexible for shorter or extended stays. We also offer 3, 4 & 5 night stays for last minute reservations. Please contact us for short stay rates. A 50% deposit is required for all stays and your balance is due upon arrival. Tax is 11% and there is a one-time $15.00 processing fee. Trip interruption insurance is available.

About The Owner

Our family has been coming to Jekyll Island since 1967 - it is a very special and unique place. When I had the opportunity to buy a place at the beach, Jekyll Island was the only consideration. We also own the Villa 433, which is right downstairs and Miz Kitty, the family matriarch, has a place to herself and we are free to come and go without disturbing her, but close enough to keep an eye on her.

My husband and I took our honeymoon here. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. The room was nice and the location quiet. The area surrounding and the boardwalks are a nice addition. Overall a lovely stay at a great price! Thank you so much! I will be recommending these villas to future Jekyll Island goers.

Must tell you we made our plans for 3 months [stay] late, so lost previous rent nearer So-central part of island. Didn't think I would enjoy this location so much - I was wrong - we loved it here - enjoyed being on second floor. Had all we needed to get by. We found it very peaceful and beautiful here - lots of birds singing. We truly hope we will be able to come again.
