We were very disappointed with this rental. It was not at all like it was depicted.
When we arrived there was a toilet that did not work and two bathroom sinks that did not drain. We actually went out and bought Drano so that we could use the sinks. Also the house was dirty and looked like most of the dirt had
been pushed underneath the furniture. On the lease agreement it stated that the pool would be cleaned twice a week by a fellow named Hal.Needless to say, Hal only showed up on Mondays and by Thursday of each week the pool was pretty dirty.
On our second day there the wi-fi no longer worked and it took the owner 4 days to get someone out to the house to repair it.The owner just acted like he didn't care after he got our money. He was slow to respond to emails and phone calls. We had several people in our party who wanted to work remotely and lost four days of work while waiting for the internet.
There was little to no customer service. The one lady on the island who allegedly works for the owner made sure that we knew that this house maintenance was only a part time job for her. So in other words, don't bother me! We got the message loud and clear!
I would not even recommend this house to a non-friend!
Very disappointed - broken refrigerator, toilet that wouldn't flush, tv didn't work all week The outside furniture was very old and all the cushions were so badly stained that I wouldn't sit on them. There was no ocean view from the second floor or any place else. The beach which was across the street was so built up with seaweed and washed up trash that you could never use it. The house could be lovely with some much needed TLC from the owner.
