great place

  • 5 of 5

We stayed there for 2+ weeks and it was very nice.

The Austins are really nice people and helped us a lot.

The cottage is 2miles from the rock, 1 mile from downtown and about 1/2 mile from the golf course.

Great places to eat in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay, great location, nice area to sit outside, nice little kitchen so you don't have to eat every meal out, hosts really helpful. I would stay here again if I get to the area. Thanks so much!

What a jewel of a find

  • 5 of 5

Rick and Christine, we totally enjoyed our stay in your cozy guest house. You are great hosts! The house was clean and well equipped. We loved hearing the bouy off in the distance and the humming birds in the garden. The location was perfect for our stay as we spent some time with family that were camping at the Morro Bay RV Park. There is plenty to do in and near the area, and wonderful restaurants everywhere. We look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Thank you so much.

Delightful stay in Morro Bay!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have been more pleased with this great little cottage. It was clean, well-appointed, with a comfy bed, warm on cold nights, and simply charming. We had everything we needed and it was 3 minutes to downtown Morro Bay when we were up for a night out. The view from the windows are serene and peaceful while the adjacent garden is refreshing and a little bit of heaven while sipping your coffee or tea in the morning. The decor of old family pictures is also thought-provoking and comforting. Highly recommend this place.

great couples getaway, owners warm/accommodating

  • 5 of 5

owners warm and easy to work with, very welcoming but still with complete privacy. ideal for a couple's getaway, but there is plenty of space for a small family if kids are ok sleeping on pull-out sofa/floor. we didn't cook/eat any meals in during our stay, but there is a small frig/microwave available if one needed that. I wouldn't plan on cooking any huge meals there as it's not set up for that, but we personally didn't need that anyway as we had planned all our meals out. oh, ask the owner's for eatery suggestions, it's always nice to get recommendations. That being said I highly suggest Taco Temple if members of your party are getting fished-out, lol. they take cash-only, but the food was great for fish and non-fish lovers alike and you can eat chips/salsa while waiting for your table (don't eat too much, the food portions are generous).

clean/well-maintained, plenty of bath towels. there are some steps to get up to property, so might just be important to know if accessibility is an issue. the price cannot be beat, and there are no hidden fees. it's a pleasure to work with owners who are welcoming and willing to share their homes and communities.
