Why the Owner Chose Keystone Village, Lodgepole: We bought our condo for many reasons. First, we love to ski. We chose Keystone because it was family oriented and very ecologically sensitive. We chose our condo, specifically because of the spectacular view of Buffalo mountain from the bedrooms and the continental divide from the living room, although trees have grown and created a different view from the front and a haven for the feeding birds. We also loved the large rooms and stone fireplace. It was love at first site and it still is.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: We love to ski, of course, but since we moved to Texas, we have come to appreciate the summer biking trails along spectacular Lake Dillon! We also love to hike in the mountains of Summit County. The wood burning fireplace is always comforting after a day of skiing.
Owner Description: We are a retired couple who once lived in Kentucky and now live south of Houston, Texas. We have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren! We still love to ski, bike and hike. Keystone is lovely in any season!
Winter Skiing is world class and the season is long due to the higher elevation at Keystone base....Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Vail and Copper Mountain are nearby. The summers are fabulous as well with Mountain Biking Trails or just wonderful paved trails throughout the Summit County communities and resorts. There are always festivals nearby, an Outlet Mall for the shopper in the group, and fantastic hiking for beginners and children up to those interested in the 14er peaks. There is beautiful Lake Dillon for sailing or just to gaze upon! Keystone is an hour west of Denver in the front range of the Rocky Mountains!
