Wilmore is a leisurely drive via US 68 from Lexington, making Pleasantview House an attractive option for Keeneland racing meets, University of Kentucky sporting events or any of the other numerous events and attractions in the central Bluegrass Region.

Ann and George retired, moved from the big city of Louisville, and relocated in Wilmore to enjoy the peace and quiet of a small town

Why The Owner chose Lexington

We purchased this home in 2009 knowing it needed a great deal of tender loving care. While doing a complete renovation of this house, we envisioned, and created, a beautiful guest house.

Spacious and Quiet

A few things in the house could use a little maintenance, but the rooms are big with lots of space to roam. Kitchen has everything you need. Beats sharing a hotel room with the kids :-). Nice quiet neighborhood in a small town. Not far from Harrodsburg and Shaker Village. The owners are very nice people who made us feel welcome. Great place to stay if you want to explore this area of KY.

We had the most wonderful stay at Pleasant View House in Wilmore, KY. Ann and George made us so welcome, provided some helpful information about the area and even visited us one evening when we invited them to join us for homemade ice cream. The house was spotless, well stocked with the things we needed and the quaint IGA was just a few blocks away. We cooked most evenings using the well appointed kitchen or grill on the patio. The beds were excellent and we felt rested and refreshed after our week long stay. We will highly recommend Pleasant View House to our friends. Thanks to Ann & George for mailing my cell, iTouch and reading glasses to me. I can't believe I left them behind.

Quick drive to Lexington, enjoy the Blugrass from a small town.

We came to KY for a family reunion and needed an affordable place to stay. The house was great and felt like home. We even cooked out two nights on the gas grill out back. Wilmore is a beautiful central KY town. The rental is a short drive to Lexington. Highly recommended.
