Good Stay on the North Shore!

To be fair, I'd have to say I would have chosen 4 1/2 stars if that had been an option...the house is really sweet and perfectly clean, the kitchen wonderful and well-stocked (we seemed to see a lot of "kitchenette"-type deals that are useless for cooking a real meal--this kitchen is the real deal!), the hosts are super friendly and helpful, the location is unbeatable as far as it's proximity to the beach, and the cruiser bikes are a huge bonus. Having said all of that, I was a little bummed to be hearing the sounds of the "highway" -(really just a two lane road, but it is actually the highway and gets lots of traffic) instead of the sounds of the waves (not that there was any false advertising about this)--we felt we needed to keep the windows closed at night which I really hated doing to avoid noisy morning traffic. If you are an early riser, this probably would not bother you at all, though. Also, some feather or down pillows would be a big plus, but the rest of the bedding was nice. Again, the hosts are really super people, the place is cute and spotless, and overall, we had thoroughly enjoyed it.
