ASK ABOUT OUR PROPERTY IN POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA!!
One of my favorite bits about this condo is that it is located in a part of town that I can feel safe going on runs/walks alone. Also, the complex is circular like the Coliseum & all entrances are locked doors. There is a great sense of security here.
Another significant advantage to this property is the amazing little courtyard in the center of the complex. It is a lush, private garden that holds gems of entertainment & wildlife within. From the koi fish ponds to the storks perched amongst the lily pad forest, there is always some form of animal life to observe. I even saw a new family of ducklings following their mother across the sand volleyball court last spring.
The view from the condo is impeccable. It looks out onto a preserved area of land with water outlet that runs into the ocean. During the summer months, you can watch the nightly SeaWorld fireworks display from the window.
Great place. Fabulous amenities. Would highly recommend. Excellent location. Love it there and plan to return in November
I can't believe I forgot to write a review of this place, because it absolutely deserves it! From day one in my research/booking, Chelsea was quick to answer any and all of my many questions, and was extremely helpful, especially when I was in the condo. The condo itself is quite amazing, very spacious and nice, especially the newly remodeled bathroom. You do hear a bit of plane noise, but I mean it's the city, you're going to have that when you are in such a great location so close to the ocean. And boy oh boy the location was phenomenal! It is super close to so many beaches, Seaworld, Point Loma (awesome tide pools), downtown, tons of great places to eat nearby just as Chelsea suggested, Phil's BBQ was out of this world, as were a couple other nearby restaurants. When going on vacation, I research until I drop, and I guarantee you won't find a better place, for a better price, and a better location than this condo. Absolutely the best working vacation I have ever had, thanks a ton, Chelsea and keep up the good work!
We spent a wonderful month here in Point Loma. The location is terrific. It is a nice walk down to Ocean Beach and also walkable to a grocery store and several restaurants, etc. The unit is very clean and updated. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the owners have nicely stocked some basic necessities to make the place comfortable from day one. The amenities are amazing. Pool, hot tub, grills, tennis courts, volleyball, game room, gym and laundry all right on site. It is very beautifully landscaped with fountains and small ponds. It is a gated community which works with codes and keys to provide a higher level of security.
We will definitely plan a return visit! I would definitely recommend this property to friends or relatives that might be staying in the area. The owners emailed all the pertinent information about how to access the building and unit and everything went very smoothly.
With great access to the freeway, we were able to travel to the beach, tourist attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, and Mexico in under 15 minutes. Longer drives to adventure meant we could hit the mountains; snow while there, Los Angeles, Nevada's entertainments and still drive back to the condo that night. We visited the sandy coast, wooded foothills, snowy mountains and the warm desert without driving our travel time away. There are so many possibilities, one is hard pressed to see and enjoy all that is around with in the span of one month.
We enjoyed widest variety of foods and restaurants that I have found in such a short distance. You can dine your way through the cuisine of a different country each night and not repeat yourself for weeks on end. I'm fond of some of the Tai and curry places but you can't miss Phil’s BBQ!
The condo overlooks the Formosa Slough with egrets, cranes and ducks, to the delight of my wife, the birder.
Spring break cycled a variety of weeklong residents that we met in the courtyard for volleyball, grilling and occasionally at the pool, it is warmer than Ohio, but still cool for a March swim. I found it very enjoyable chatting with people from all over the country, and a few who were visiting from outside of the country.
The onsite laundry is great for doing mundane chores while playing in the courtyard during the wash cycles. The pop machine usually supplies quarters if you are shy, but it is better to hit up a bank for a roll or two before hand.
I would and have recommended a stay here to friends. If another opportunity to travel to San Diego for a month is found, I will be looking at the calendar to see if the condo on Rue D’Orleans is available once again.
We spent the month of February at the condo and had a really great time. The condo was clean and well-maintained and the property owners were very attentive to our needs. They also did a great job paying attention to small details like keeping supplies stocked and spare toiletries on hand. Our family of 3 was able to comfortably stay there the whole month. The condo community has a really neat central courtyard that has a big pool and a super cozy hot tub, among other amenities. Also, we seriously couldn't have asked for a better location. The place is ridiculously close to the beach and all local attractions. We were able to get anywhere we wanted within minutes. It is within a five minute drive to a huge variety of restaurants and grocery stores. If you are looking for an affordable one bedroom rental within a short drive to everything, I would highly recommend this condo.
We stayed at this Isle Oasis condo while we were in San Diego for a family wedding. The condo was adequate, but needs work. Wall hangings were on the floor, propped up against the wall and the windows need repair, as noted above. The unit is in a very large building which could use some updates. The neighborhood was convenient, but it is at the edge of a seedy area of town. Chelsea didn't send directions to the building, so we had to find it on our own. We did have a problem with the door lock while we were there; we were unable to get in touch with Chelsea and the management company did not have her contact info. We have stayed at VRBO properties often in the past and this is the first time we've had a problem.
